A crowned tooth doesn't always need a root canal.
A root canal removes the nerve from the tooth, not the root.
An implant replaces a lost or extracted tooth. It has a titanium screw that is placed in the bone, then a crown is permanently attached to the implant.
Implants can also be set to retain a full denture. My mom has this on the lower. It isn't removable by her, and she still comes in to let me clean it regularly.

Granddaughter any day now.. She's having pains, but nothing regular yet. Induction is set to start Wednesday evening, so by Thursday I'll be a Bibi!

Here is the catio. If I had to have another cat he was gonna have to have his own room and leave me alone. He was an outdoor cat. He owned this neighborhood but he would never come home. Gone weeks at a time. I'd love to send him out the door every day but I'd never hear the end of it cuz he wouldn't come back. He's in this thing all day and night. He likes keeping tabs on the critters. Has a cat flap so he can come and go all he wants.

Morning... Rain yesterday and today.. No yarding mowing. Slowly getting the phone setup. I'm sure there will be more things to figure out. Ordered a case for it which should be here Tuesday. Just have to be extra carful till then. I hope it's what I'm looking for.

Afternoon... It took me 6 hours to get shopping done. I was going to 5 stores which should have got me home around Noon. Nope I had to make a detour to an AT&T store and that one took some time to complete. I noticed the back of my phone was coming off. It's not removable. The only cause for that would be the battery swelling. Which makes it a fire hazard. AT&T store was close so I spent more time there than the rest of the stores. But I have a new Samsung Galaxy S22+. The phone was $1000. They gave me $800 for my old fire hazard phone. So with the insurance I added my bill will go up about $25. I'll cancel the insurance in a few months or so. It worked out. Now I have to get it setup the way I want it and expedite a case and screen protector..

I also found out I can now get AT&T fiber internet. That will be setup in 2 weeks. Gives me time to think about it. My current internet has been trash since our area was sold off. The cost is the same with a bit more speed. Guess I'll find out in 2 weeks..

Nope. Implant replaces a whole tooth. One that's been extracted, lost, or genetically missing.

A root canal removes the nerve and blood supply, but makes the tooth brittle. So normally a root canal is followed by a crown.

Evening....Monday is done... New phone case is here. Looks good and came with 2 screen protectors and 2 camera lens protectors. But I did drop it in the truck and put a tiny scratch on the back. I put a touch of black sharpie on it so you have to look close to see it. I figured it would happen.

Work has cut back on overtime so I may be off tomorrow. I'm at 40 hours.

Had to change a camera setting on my phone. The file size of the HD pictures was way to big. I was needing to crop them way back in order to upload them here..

Afternoon.. Went to Walmart so that's out of the way. The yard was still wet from the humidity but mowed it anyway. It's 90 with 60 present humidity. Not calling for rain but I'll be surprised if we don't get a popup storm.. Sprayed Roundup around and spread the bug killer I had remaining on part of the back yard. Need to go to Lowes and get more of both of them. So I've done all I'm going to for the day. Time to relax..

First harvest of jalapeños was small but mighty. Was able to pickle a half batch. More are growing. Yum!
