Do you have anything to vape now? It would be interesting if the cough improved again.
Nothing to vape anymore. Once I decided to quit, I had to prevent temptation. But it would be an interesting experiment.

After seeing how health policies are created, I don’t have unquestioning faith in the medical establishment. I think many things that we are told are ultra-harmful to us, really are probably not so completely awful. Also, there is great value in moderation. :)

Lori is allergic to oxygen. Thanks for posting recipes, I finally added one myself.
Torrential rain and 40mph winds yesterday. My red clay yard is now soup. But sunshine and a steady breeze today helped, maybe another day will dry the yard out before more rain Friday. My lawn is literally washing away...

Allergic to oxygen? Because I’m being too chatty?

Afternoon.. Well it rained all day yesterday... We got just a little bit of sunshine today. We need more. But more rain is due in tomorrow...

My only two plants in the house were not looking. They're Shamrock plants. They hadn't been replanted or cut for a number of years. Not the first time I've done a replant on them.
I dumped them and dug out the root pieces. Fresh potting soil and replant. That was on Nov.10. Looking much better now and will soon fill the pots in... I can grow them and those Bamboo sticks that don't need dirt.,. :)

Wow - those are lovely! You have a nice window and planter shelf there too. Nicely done!

A wee bit of harvest this evening. I don’t have many plants of each, but just 3 parsley plants are taking over the whole bed! There’s some red Russian kale (from 3 plants), collard greens (from 2 plants) and a few Swiss chard leaves from one plant. I’m happy!

Had to have service done on the Sequoia today. The front brakes weren’t right. It needed two new front pads, brake fluid and a new front rotor. Total cost was $426. I feel like that pricing was good - what do you all think?
I'll tell you what I could buy the parts for. You decide if the price is fair.

Pads..aprox $35 per side. Both sides = $70 (these would be high quality pads)
Rotor...aprox $50 each (again, high quality parts). Both sides = $100
    Brake fluid $10
Add $15 to ship above parts.

I could do the job in 90 - 120 minutes. That includes swapping out the parts plus brake bleed.

FYI: Front brakes do 80-90% of the braking. The rear brakes are applied just enough to keep your vehicle from fishtailing.

Hi gang. Been laying low of late. As a long term smoker, I'm going in for my second annual low dose CT Scan in a couple weeks to check for any early signs of lung cancer. The first one last year showed no signs. My insurance plan pays for it. Finished PMing all my outdoor equipment so I'm done fooling with that for a year. One of my first projects when it warms up a bit is to finish sealing the cracks in my driveway. I did almost half of it in November then it got too cold for that sealant to properly set up. So I need to finish the job in the Spring. I'd rather fix what's there before it's too late versus ripping out and replacing the entire driveway. Screw that! It's a concrete driveway.
