Have finished my Janty Stick bling makeover...waiting for the glue to dry for pics...humidity in the house is now like 300 percent. I didn't know I could sweat on my knees...and I was doing pretty good - all things considering - until I just went to feed the cat...half way across the living room floor, the bottom fell out and 10 lbs of mushy cat food splattered all over me. It looked like kitty barf...!

Wrong forum, I know but until my PB comes, this is the only stick I have. And here is the bling. Still need to smooth off the gluey fingerprints on the back but for a first attempt I think it turned out okay. The crystals are swarovski except for the button and battery screw cover. hose are just cheapie acrylics. I tried to get a pic of the led light that changes across the bottom; the crystals reflect it and it looks so awesome.

Do you have Claire's at the malls out there? I hit their clearance racks and get earrings for next to nothing! The little chains came off a pair of earrings and the little crystal charm is actually a stud that I snipped the post of off. I also figured out how to attach the charms all the cos modder's are ravin' (get it: ravin'...=)..) Found these little black rubber pony tail holders that are rounded instead of flat. Like the washers around a drip tip. All you have to do is add a jump ring and a clasp and you can change charms in no time flat. Got a pair of .99 earrings at Claires that were huge loops with 8 silver and crystal charms hanging on them. No way am I gonna pay 12.95+. If you want one, just PM me and let me know what you want to put them on. I've got bows, keys, crystal drops, a heart and...wait for it...a silver rose! Be happy to fix you guys up.

The bands are by Goody - they're called 'Darlene Elastics' - I got them at Wally World. (wal-mart). They aren't exactly the same but will work fine. I'm all for people making a living but really that lady at the bling store... Don't mind me...I'm just cheap.

Well I have never been rich....so I dont honestly know if there is anything to envy or not. But I hear you girlfriend!!!! There are some pretty things out there......and maybe if your actually rich it would be different. But my problem with pretty things...is all I do is worry about losing them!!!! Maybe I just dont have the right mentality for money.....if I won the lottery the first thing I would do is start giving it away. LOL

And now I have some sad news...my beautiful new stick mod is dead...sniff...sniff. I put it on what I thought was it's charger so the glue could dry and it was my stupid blackberry charger! We are all living in one room so all the chargers are getting mixed up.
This is not my week. Trying to pry of the swarovskis so not all the $$ is flushed. When are the PB's coming? I need some good news...
