ah....what???? Skinny like the Hendu? As far as I know all the batteries are 9.5mm. I just sat here and measured them myself....it is my belief that the difference is merely perceptual due to the lack of wrapper on the carto. At least.....that is what HAL says.
and no....I am sorry I dont know a thing about the Pitbull....other than the pictures I have seen. I'll see if I can rattle the alphas cage and get him to talk to us (speaking metaphorically of course, Bill)

Hey guys....sorry been out of the loop for a bit...I trust my little Lori has been treating you all well....as to answer a question or two on the the new PitBull ....here goes.... the PB will only be longer...not thicker...than the current Hendu we have now...so it will increase slightly in weight as well...by a few grams...have not held one yet...you winners will prolly be doing that before I do...so I guess being the Bus Driver doesn't always mean you get choice of Bus to drive!!! ...nothing else really to add here except I want people to give us some feedback on the function of the unit...so it would have been preferable to get people who already have SS batteries to compare them to the new PB..

Lori is very convincing and arm twisted me enough to make an exception and allow some of them to be given away here for Beta testing...so I hope you all appreciate her persuasiveness in this case...that's about it for now...

BTW..is the harem growing Dave??...if so...keep the pool clean and the drinks coming...gotta keep our ladies happy..!!

I am around... just have not been feeling well. Last night my stomach was killing me (just pain, nothing else; could be my ulcers... don't really know) & my body ached so bad. I was freezing & it was 80 degrees in the house.... It took a little while for the brain to turn the light bulb on & say duh... maybe a fever! So after I put the kids to bed I took Advil PM & that did seem to help a little.

Still not 100% today, still achy... pretty much trying to rest as much as one can rest with 2 kids & no one else here to help. My 9 year old daughter is pretty good about it but my 2 year old son does not really understand that mommy doesn't feel well, can't expect him to understand.

It doesn't help that my Hubby has been living in Florida since February. He comes home about once a month for a few days. This month will be our 16th wedding anniversary.

I am not really looking forward to school starting on Wednesday either... the craziness, the projects, the homework etc.... My daughter hates school so she gives me a hard time about going. This year she goes to a different school too. The schools are split in this township K-3, 4-8 & 9-12. I really don't like that the 4th graders are with 8th graders... It wasn't like that a few years ago. They built a new high school & grouped 4-8th into the old high school. I keep telling her that she won't be in this school for to long (hopefully). We are trying to sell the house & move to Florida.

I work(ed) for a pool construction company for the past 8 years and after this seasonal layoff... most of the employees were not brought back. I still go in 1 day or so a month to do the bank rec but that's about it. At least I just found out that I do qualify for the extended unemployment benefits so that is a relief!! I started to panic when my benefits were running out & not knowing if I would get the extension. We thought that the house would have been sold by now.... but that's another whole topic..lol People just want everything in a house/property but don't want to pay for it! I am all for negotiating & getting a good deal.... but some of these people I would love to tell them to !!!

I guess I am done venting now.... sorry.... that was not the intention of my post originally!

Hey our anniversary is this month, too! 18 years on the 11th...and I hear you about the house. We don't even know if we still own ours. We did a loan mod w/lender back in Nov. Kept waiting for our packet to arrive...we called a zillion times only to get no answer. Called the lawyers we'd paid to represent us with the mod and they said all they were paid to do was obtain the mod. In MARCH we find out our lender had folded and all loans pulled in to Bank of America. They didn't even know who we were...We filed more loan mod papers with them 10 days ago. So we haven't had anybody to make a loan payment to since last August...I have been scared poop less! And now this mess...! As I always say, thank goodness for Xanax.
So can he come home for your anniversary? What can I do to make you smile? Will you let me make you a charm or two? PM me your address and battery size. I'd love to do something to help cheer you up. When we were in Wyoming - and starving! - Art took a job in LA. I had to have two surgeries while he was gone. I know what your heart feels: mad, sad, frustrated, resentful, guilty for feeling that way, etc...
Believe it or not, this too shall pass. At least that's what I keep telling myself.

Totally off topic now but curious. I went into new members today and everybody is calling PV's 'battery butts'. Who in the hotel started that? I think that is totally offensive. JMO... They must not be vaping SmokeStiks... Speaking of, I really can't afford it after this disaster but when we do our PB betas, I'm ordering a Hendu battery just because shinies cheer me up. I was gonna order the pink but am so disgusted at the moment I don't feel pink...

Happy anniversary to you too... Our anniversary is the 17th and yes he is flying back in on the 16th.

I hope you get that mess with the loan straighten out soon! Yes, Xanax has been a life line to me many times over the past 6 years. I am also on blood pressure meds, so I need to be careful about the stress and that is one of the reasons for the Xanax. Yes, you do go through a whole range of emotions when situations like this come up.

I have a pink ss... it is BEAUTIFUL!!!! I was planning on ordering a Hendu with the PB.

As for the "battery ....'s" ... I haven't seen that yet!

Watch your blood pressure, babe. They just found two white spots on my brain MRI; they kept asking me if I had a history of HBP but I don't, so assume the two are related somehow. Have to go in next month for nerve conduction tests. Those are so horrid but got to find out why I'm getting these weird headaches and nosebleeds. I've never really had either before unless my nose got hit or something. Boy, when it rains, it pours, huh? And you vent all you want to...that's what we're here for, right?
Speaking of here, Lorikay hasn't been all day but good for her; she seems to work 24/7 around here. Pool boy is slacking off though... =)

Headaches & nosebleeds are common with high blood pressure... do you have it checked regularly? I have a arm cuff blood pressure monitor here to check mine. Do not get the wrist ones... they are not as accurate. My problems started back with my first pregnancy... I had PIH (pregnancy induced hypertension). That went away after delivering her, but I ended up with HBP anyway... 6 years ago. Runs in the family. Let us know how those tests go!

Yeah, I have not seen Lorikay nor the pool boy all day..... hummm wonder where they are?

Wow, I've missed a lot in just a few days! I'll have to catch up tomorrow and see what fun I missed out on! Oldest son and his wife were here for the long weekend and I think my grand total of sleep has been something like 8 hours, LOL!!! Hope to remedy that tonight.

.....and she is still working. Labor Day means since everyone else is at the beach (DAVE) or having a picnic....the phones are not ringing so I can get some work done!!!

Lorikay, my doctor is fully aware of my nicotine usage. She knew that I was a smoker & that I have now started vaping. I see the doctor at least every 3 months, take meds & check my blood pressure at home. Eventually it is my goal to switch to 0 nicotine. I am concerned about the symptoms that Cate has mentioned though....
