Yay Dems!! how the hell are you man?!?

Mate, the device is a peach. It is so well made it's hard to describe. They made a mistake with the o-rings. I think they are viton or something similar and just don't have enough 'give' to easily take the tank. I think this will be fixed with all new units going out. Vassilis has been excellent and has realised the mistake. As for the vape I can't say yet but Jason ( @Yonjuro ) speaks well of it and that is good enough for me! They are OOS at the moment of course but if i were you I'd just grab one when you can.

cheers mate and glad to see you are still around and about :)
Did you get the restricted lung hit deck or the MTL? Todd said the MTL was really tight so was thinking of going with the restricted lung deck.

I have been good, just was really busy for a while and took a break on the vape stuff, haha, how have you been?

Hi bud!

I got the M2L version. I tried a quick pull on it without any build in there and it reminded me of, say, a cloud one. I certainly dont remember it being ultra tight. Maybe @Yonjuro can chip in here as his is up and running and i think (perhaps mistakenly) he has the M2L deck also...promise I will get a report back asap anyway!

Must admit I slacked off the vape gear for a while and sold a load of stuff but back with a vengeance again haha!! Hopeless am I!

Oh Steve, Sorry to hear that you had the issues, but glad they sorted it out for you.

Dems, regarding the MTL. That comment from Mark Todd's excellent review, was the only thing that was not 100% bang on from his review (in my opinion) I dont like 'golfball through the garden hose' tight on my MTL. The Skyline is perfect for me. Half open is similar to a Kayfun 5 smallest setting with no reducers. I don't think I will get the RDL deck if it comes out as an optional extra as I wont need it :)

The vape is excellent indeed. let me know if you have any questions :)

Oh, well that sounds just about right for me then, maybe I will roll with the MTL then, thanks for the heads up.

Yep MTL is a winner in my books. You can really crank up the wattage too - I took a 1.2 Ohm build up to 26 watts just for a test and no dry hits - it blows out a huge amount of vapour :)

I did find an overwhelming chemical smell when I opened the box, but I am sure it is the foam from the box. I too, queried CS on this and they assured me of the cleanliness of the units and it being VG. I am on their closed FB group, and nothing has come up to doubt this.

I did see one person broke a tank on the FB page and just thought he must have done something wrong until Steve had the same issue and know that he knows what he is doing.

When I cleaned mine I took everything apart except for the top piece and tank as it wasn't coming off easily LOL

So, now that you have had a while longer with the Skyline, what are your thoughts in how it stacks up versus the Hussar [emoji14]

My thoughts are have stayed pretty much the same as when I fist tried it. Both are awesome easy to build on and flavourful RTAs

Hussar - Slight edge in flavour - Hussar looks more unique, has great accessories

Skyline - Better AF, Better for MTL has Glass and amazing build quality. It sounds like there will be an Ultem tank in the future.

Cool,

The Rose 3 is no doubt a flavourful atty, I had it upon release, but in the end I found it to be a complete pain( in my opinion). I sold mine recently - The Hussar and Skyline are much better (in my opinion) for the way I like to vape.

What about for strait lung hits? Hussar or Skyline?

No problems with the Hussar although that is not the way I like to vape, but I have tested it. I don't have the DL deck for the Skyline, but 3 x 2mm airflow openings under the coil and AFC open it should be very similar to the Hussar. fully open.

Whether either is a true DL is not really a question I can answer any better.

I think Todd refers to the Skyline as a slightly restricted lung, but that really must be slight and not how I think of as a RL - he says you can DL it. I can't remember exactly what he said on the DL-ability of the Hussar.

Both are excellent and both are now my favourite RTAs - which is just as well considering the $s LOL.

Thanks. Where do you think the BY-ka v6 fits in with these two?

I haven't tried that one - I know Mark Todd has done a review on it - so it might be worth viewing that on youtube - I think he reviewed before either the Hussar or Skyline though ??
Yeah, he reviewed it before the other two.

I am fairly certain that the Hussar and the Skyline will be jostling for his number one spot for RTA of 2016. I am pretty sure that the Hussar will win flavour by a smidge and Skyline will win build quality. How he decides which will earn top spot will be interesting.

So based on this - I would imagine that he favours either of these over the By-ka.
