I would like to ask your opinions regarding the flavor between Hussar and Skyline. Skyline is from my home country so i can't be subjective so please guys go ahead :)

Its a bit like comparing Mercedes and BMW :) too hard to tell at this early point in time. Have only had the Skyline for half a day, but I really like it. It is worth the money in my opinion. I like the AF on the Skyline better for MTL - my initial feeling is that the Hussar might have a very very slight edge on the flavour ...maybe? The build quality on the Skyline is amazing.

I think that the normal 304 is not better than the 316 maybe you are referring to 304L (that's the food grade one)
I think that the amount of lead in 304 is more than the 316 but maybe i am wrong i am not pretty sure :p

Thanks a lot for your first impressions i have exact the same feeling about the flavor.

neither have lead! the L stands for Low (as in carbon). 303 has some sulphur which apparently makes is less corrosion resistant. Not sure I am too happy about this really...

it's just 304 no 304L unfortunately :( the really bad thing is that i had to ask the manufacturer in person to find that information. In every site i searched absolutely nothing and to be honest for the asking price you need to have the specifications in every material you used like the Skyline to be honest.

I'm sure its all fine but 303 is not commonly used for vaping to my knowledge for whatever reason...maybe someone can weigh in here with some more insight?!?!?

Many manufacturers are using the 303 because it's really easy to craft with it. Many chinese brands are using 303 as main material (if you see just SS then probably will be 303) also if you aware of Gus mods another greek mod-atty maker for the past 2 years all attys where from 303 now he upgraded to 304.

Havent built the skyline yet. Just havent had the time this week :(
Doggy is a good vape but has some annoying features. AF ring is too tight, hard to get tank off to refill but maybe that will loosen up, chimney section unscrews too easily from the top cap. It is a very basic device and canht help thinking it is massive overpriced for what you actually get. No DT, two o-rings and....that's it. No spare tank...I like it but feel it is a bit too expensive.

Yeah the af ring it tight, just make sure you dont tighten the tank too much and lube up the O-ring. You also need to use your finger with a paper towel to get the chimney tight. Yep it is probably over priced but it is a good vape :)

so back to the skyline...so far, not impressed at all. Mine does seem to have machine oil who knows. The orings are very dry and unlubricated (not even with the machine oil). I just spent 20 minutes trying to get the glass tank to part with the company of the chimney/top section nearly breaking the tank in the process. Now I have it apart, cleaned and properly lubricated, i can't get the tank back on as the o-ring appears to be too big for a proper fit. At this point I am stuck as I really cant get the glass tank back on and it feel like any serious effort to do so will end up with a lot of broken glass and some stitches for my hand...Really not good....:(

Ok. So contacted ESG and, as usual, prompt reply and issue sorted. Turns out they think the o-rings are too hard so have seen my issue before. They will send new rings and a new tank. Can't ask for more than that.

This, folks, is why buying the real thing is the best!! Shame I have to wait to try it but all good here and props to Vassilis and colleagues at ESG for fantastic CS :)

ps. they insist that the coating I see is VG and that they are all ultra'd and rinsed before sending. Mine did smell of ;'metalwork' but I have no doubt about their sincerity and I must have been mistaken!

I came here to reaffirm my decision to order a skyline when more stock goes up...Steve, you need throw up impressions when the replacement arrives, because Todd's review got me excited to grab one after going on a purchasing hiatus lol

Yay Dems!! how the hell are you man?!?

Mate, the device is a peach. It is so well made it's hard to describe. They made a mistake with the o-rings. I think they are viton or something similar and just don't have enough 'give' to easily take the tank. I think this will be fixed with all new units going out. Vassilis has been excellent and has realised the mistake. As for the vape I can't say yet but Jason ( @Yonjuro ) speaks well of it and that is good enough for me! They are OOS at the moment of course but if i were you I'd just grab one when you can.

cheers mate and glad to see you are still around and about :)
