I totally quit smoking analogs after 3 days. The first day I had my vaping rig, I smoked three cigarettes. The second day it was another three. On the third day, I took a few drags and couldn't stomach the taste. I have 5 and 1/2 packs of Marlboro red 100's left in the freezer right now, as we speak and will probably give them to a friend along with an eGo or something and see if he does the same and quits the analogs. ;)

HI all,new here!
I pretty much quit buying analogs about 2 weeks in...
Pretty gradual from 5 sticks a day to none.
Like most reported, the taste just didn't taste right on the taste buds anymore.
After that i just stopped buying altogether

Congrats for quitting the stinkies and welcome to the forums! :)

Don't put pressure on yourself! Everyone's different. I usually smoked close to a pack & a half a day. I had 2 packs left when I got my starter kit. Between vaping & smoking it took me 4 or 5 days to get through those 2 packs! The morning coffee cigarette & the after meal ones were my toughest ones to get past. After I ran out I just refused to buy another pack. Go at your own pace & do what works for you!

Thanks for the words of encouragement Deacon!
Guess what most people have problems with are force of habits...
Like me,the usual coffee break, lavatory, alcoholic etc analogs have become way of life.
But once you get the hang of doing it indoors...the pros just outweigh the cons.
It also helps alot if you have anti analog loved ones around :D

I stumbled across e-cigs by chance, and have not looked back. I had half a pack left and slowly smoked them over a couple of days, but loved vaping so much. I still cant believe how much I enjoy it and it keeps my cravings at bay, after smoking for 38 years. I love my Vapourlites e-cigs, which Im smoking as I type this, in my home office, and SWMBO cannot smell a thing which is blooming fantastic :)

Really wierd.... By accident I quit the day I started vaping. This is day #3 and no urges. Still have a 1/2 carton of Marlboro Blacks in the beer fridge. I can't believe it. I've never gone this long without at least one smoke...

Congrats! Might as well try and keep it going now!

Like i mentioned...it's just a force of habit!
Someone once told me,imagine the 1st day you picked up analogs...
Imagine how bad it tasted...but you continued anyway.
Now imagine vaping as the new analog you're picking up...
Sure it taste weird in the beginning BUT you'll get used to it eventually!

Once I got my first e-cig I would smoke 2 analogs a day when walking the dog for the first two weeks and then I found Mt. Baker vapor and their delicious juices and the go-go e-cig and that was it. Two weeks with two smokes a day and then nothing and I haven't looked back. Crazy thing is I didn't even want to quit, I just figured if I supplemented my nicotine I would smoke less cigarettes and thus save some money. Now I have a Sigelei Zmax, protank, and tons of delectable juices and I cannot for the life of me remember why I ever smoked in the first place. For 25 mother******* years. Good luck I hope it works out for you.
