Some good juice vendors:

Heathers Heavenly Vapes (all time favorite)
Backwoods Brew...Malty Toffee!!!
ECBlend...very inexpensive and the Chocolate Hazelnut tobacco is amazing to me.
Copper Creek

Do the above vendors sell prefilled cartos or just juice? I am totally new to this and haven't filled any cartos yet.

They only sell juice but it is very easy to fill cartos!

Finding a flavor you really like is probably the most difficult part of vaping. I'm still trying flavors after four months and, while I have my favorites at the moment, I'm still looking for the magical one flavor. To make things worse, you will find your taste buds changing as the effects of cigarette smoke wear off. On the other hand, it can be a lot of fun trying new fllavors.

I know what you mean. I was a bit dismayed to find I've gone off my fave 555 a bit. On the other hand, I told myself when I started vaping that I wasn't going to try silly fruit flavors :)facepalm:). Well of course now I love caramel apple and apricot.
RY4 has become a fave now. But things may change. That's part of the fun really. I do consistently like coffee flavors tho.

I also have smoked for 26 years....I actually think the Ry4 and freedom flavors aren't too bad. I absolutly hated the country and desert joe flavor...they tasted like a tobacco cigg but way too strong for me. The 555 tasted like burnt popcorn. I need to order more flavors.

Have you started to buy juice and fill etc. I just don't want thigns to get too compicated. I like the idea of pre-filled cartos but the selection is so limited I guess I will have to buy some blanks and start buying juice. I really wanted to keep this simple but does not look like it is going to be....LOL.

Filling cartos is very simple Sasha. You just pop the top off and drip down the side. 20 drops, done. Let it stand 20 min, then vape.
There is the "condom" method but I don't like it myself. It gets juice down the centre hole of the carto, can be messy, and isn't as easy actually. Dripping into a cartomizer is easy peasy.

SInce I am totally new to this...and not liking the flavors should I order more equipment or just stick with the 78mm auto and manual batteries and sample more juices. I am wondering if I get a different model will it make a difference like a VV model or and Ego Twist etc. I actually like the vaping experince with the volt it is similar to ciggs but the battery loses charge so quick. I mean this can become a full time job LOL....between charging batteries ordering juices, steeping them, filling them etc. etc.

Steve,,,I couldn't agree more that is my experiece. I can see that using this will help me cut down on the ciggs. I actually don't like the tobacco taste either and that is what I thought i would like since when i looked at the flaovr choices I could not see myself smoking an apple or grape...:)

Well,,anyway I am going to check out some more juices from other sites and order some blank cartos from SI.

I'd say if it's just about charging time then get an X2. 100mah = about 1 hour of vaping. So an X2 650 mah should give you about 6 hours of vaping, a 900 mah about 9 hours... and so on. With an X2 you can still use the same SI cartos, clearos, nanos etc.

Try sampling more juices - buy small samples (5-10ml) of different flavors to try.

Sitting down, facing forward.
The X2 is larger and heavier, so it needs a hand to keep it in your mouth, but if you're using manuals that's happening anyway. Filling cartos is easy as everyone has said and gives you great flexibility with flavors that prefilled doesn't. I would suggest the CE3, if you don't mind using a syringe to fill it, since it is far simpler to clean than a carto and you probably will want to clean them when switching flavors to avoid "strange" mixes.

It's not very heavy. About the size of a sharpie pen. I never had smokes hanging from my mouth anyway, and don't hang Volts from my mouth either. So the X2 is bigger but not vastly different. Its the size of an Ego. I like it for at home because I vape more at home. The 650 mah has been coming to work with me of late tho.

I don't hang ciggs from my mouth either. Just don't want something much bigger than the 78mm. The SI webiste has the X2 650 size and compares it to the 78 and it looked to be the same size as the 78mm battery. If that is the case I would be fine with that size. Not sure if I want to start up with the other tanks just yet till i get a handle on filling the cartos.

If I am trying to keep this simple. what do you recomend. cartos or buying the ce3? I just want whatever is easier as there is just too much right now and i am on info overload

X2 batteries are fatter than 78s. About like a medium size cigar.

If I were you, I would stay with the equipment you have right now and try some new flavors. After you've been doing that for a little while, you'll be able to make a more informed decision on what to do next. The most important thing right now is to quit smoking cigarettes.

Just get some cartos. They are easy to fill and they work every time. CE3s need to be filled with a syringe, and cleaning them etc is not as easy. They can also leak sometimes - mine did. They aren't as simple as cartomizers and I didn't use Ce3s at work after I had one leak there. I still use cartomizers myself a lot.

If battery charging is an issue for you get a 650mah X2 - they are easy to get used to and last about 6 hours. If you think you aren't ready, stay with 78mms and maybe get one or two more. X2s are not that big tho.

I would just order different flavors and use the cartos you have now. If you soak them in hot water for a few minutes a couple of times and then let them dry over night with the end caps removed, most (if not all) of the old flavor will be gone.

J.R.

I find they take longer to dry properly - 3-4 days. I think she just needs to buy some blank cartos and juice. They are cheap enough.
