I have been vaping a little over 2 months and I probably have wasted $100 on juice that I'll never use and just items I try out and don't like. I was wondering what others have thought being a waste of money.

Get a Provari and you wont waste anymore money on mods...
Juice? Well at first I tried alot of flavors I didnt like until I settled on Unflavored 100% VG, been using it for 2 1/2 years....

I didn't waste too much $$. I overpayed for some stuff at my local shop before finding this site. I also had a complete starter kit stolen right after buying it. Other than that - I probably have around 30-45mls of juice ill never vape and that's it. Got started with ego twist and t2 - it works well enough not to have to mess around trying a lot of other mods.

Wasted? $111.28, if not for that I would be saving, as of today, $330.63. My actual savings, including the wasted $, $219.35. Now that I am in maintenance mode, the savings will rise slowly but surely. I can't wait to see what it will be a year from my start vaping date. Hubby got me a Provari for Christmas so that didn't have to come out of my savings :D Gifts are NOT included in the spreadsheet!!

ZERO!! I am a non smoker now so ZERO $$$$ have been wasted. If you have things sitting around that you've tried and don't like, either donate, trade, or sell, then none is wasted. A LOT of new vapers don't have the funds to buy things New and would love to try your unwanted items. Just a thought :)

Loved this answer!

None of it was wasted! I do plan on donating all those unwanted flavors to others! I belong to another (smaller) forum and have donated many of my juices to new members just starting out vaping. I give them a list of my DIY flavors and then make up some juices for them in their desired nicotine strengths. It really makes me feel good to know I'm helping fellow vapors out!

Agree!! I have wasted SOOO much money over the years smoking. Yes it seems more bc its all at one time, but compared to how many years I smoked....its PENNIES

Compared to 5 bucks a day for cigarettes, my wife and I have saved hundreds and hundreds. The key is to buy the right mod once and buy it right. We have Prodigy V2's and they have worked great for over 3 years!

I am up to AU$3500.- + now and still don't feel like I have wasted a cent.

What I have ordered and don't fall in love with myself I give away to smokers who want to give up and most of them have by now.

I LOVE my huge collection of juices - about ~100 by now and the ones I don't love right away I keep coming back to - often to find they become favourites for a while. If not - another one for the gift basket.

Cigarettes here in Australia are $20.00 a pack and I used to smoke 1.5packs a day.

I recoup my money quickly in comparison.

Don't look at it as a waste - its an investment in my health and unwanted stuff makes great little giveaways!

Plus - Vaping has become a hobby, passion and obsession!

I haven't wasted any money. I got a cig-a-like I still love. Then the bigger batts and some different clearos, Nanos, T3s [love those], I am using them all until they die and buying more of what I love. Fortunately, even if a juice isn't my favorite, I have found it vapable enough to use it up. I bought it, I'm vaping. I don't like to waste money.

I am spending some more on a mod but I think that will be worth my money. I tried hard to research and understand and thanks to some of the nice folks here, I hope to be happy with my new purchase when it arrives.

I only smoke a few cigs now and that is priceless. I may give the last few up soon. No pressure. I have NOT smoked hundreds of cigs since August.

I've spent $550 since Oct 2. Of that I have or will use $350 of it... so on the surface it looks like I've wasted $200 in juices or flavorings I don't like but not really because in that time I would have spent $540 on smokes. Also, I don't see those juices as a loss. I'm pretty good with flavorings and am already thinking about what I can do with them to make them vapable. And it just happens people I've gotten started vaping like what I don't and vice versa so chances are we'll swap some. I'm now at the point of researching vvs so that will be the next battery purchase of around $70. Then my monthly cost should be around $40 a month saving $140 a month. That's more info than you asked for but the first I really looked at the big picture. Thanks. I don't feel bad now.
