67 years old, male, started smoking by age 14 with Chesterfield cigarettes and later moved on to Old Gold. I can remember when filtered cigarettes first came out. The old man who lived down the dirt road from us would smoke the cigarette then chew the filter. (Really!!!)

Chain smoked most of my adult life and worked outside the USA smoking some of the nastiest, dirtiest, tar-laden, cigarettes ever produced. Still healthy as a horse, but knew I had to quit.

Vaping for nearly a month now and no analogs! I'm real proud of me!

I'd love to see this as well!

I just turned 30 .. booo!
Smoked for 6 years when I was younger, got really bad (3 packs a day the last few years) before I quit.

Quit for 5 years ..

Started up again for 2+ years (about a pack a day) after I had moved to Nashville, TN .. damn southerners lol

Started vaping (quit smoking) this past New Years! Also helped that I moved to Cali :)

sry to get off subject.. but what exactly does being in the southern states have to do with your decision to pick up analogs exactly? please tell me what me what we as southerners are doing to promote cigarettes to you?

you can't be serious.... can you?

Hopefully my last analog was yesterday, but we'll see how it goes!
First attempt at "quitting."

Good for you Organ Feast! As the mom of a 19 yr old who also smokes, I am so happy you are taking up vaping instead of smoking. I just got my first PV kit 3 days ago, and my son decided he wanted to try it that very first day. His kit is in the mail!

I wish this technology had existed when I was your age! And it sounds like there continue to be really cool innovations coming soon. You are in a great place to help influence a lot of people to quit supporting Big Tobacco! In fact, I learned about ecigs from my son many months ago, and it took me a long time to research it. (Dumb me.)

I just want to encourage you to stick with it, and realize that if you don't like your first type of ecig, there are tons of options out there! The most helpful advice I have received has been to focus on how many analogs we are avoiding, rather that beating ourselves up if we have an analog. (I have had some analogs in the past few days, but they taste like doodie.)

If your 48 year old self could come back and see you now, you would be giving yourself a big pat on the back and a "Thank you!";)

41 years -- started when I was 20 and in college. My roommate and all her friends smoked and they convinced me it was the thing to do. This e-cig is the best thing that's happened to me in forever! I've been smoke free for 9 days (and better than that, I don't even WANT a cigarette!) Never thought this could happen!
