pack a day for a total of 20 years, as i "quit" for 10 years once...i know, what an idiot to start up again. first tried cigs at age 10 (yikes)...wasn't peer pressure at all, nor was it rebellion. i just always LOVED the smell of cigarettes, and spent a lot of time with my grandparents, who smoked like chimneys...oddly enough, they were both *pharmacists*. :/

last was my 21st anniversary of my 18th birthday

Started smoking @ 7 or 8 and full-time smoker by 13.
Was handed a written direct order from my base C O in 1993 to stop smoking. Still have it somewhere. At that point, a carton of pall mall n/f would last me a day and a half to 2 days.

Tried to slack off and went to Marlboro reds. Got Dow to 2 packs a day and was right proud of myself.

Then in August of the same year, I got my MEB order and pretty much fell like a stone.
One hand rolling bugle boy with a lit hanging from the corner of my mouth.

After a few scares, got it back down to liggett lights, @ about a pack a day.
Then moved to Winston ULs in hopes that not dealing with all the chemicals that mfgrs add to their mix would make it easier to quit.

Then fuel went nuts and cigarette prices already were, so asked what the cheapest brand was...... back to pall malls ULs, then fulls and half way through a pack of nons, I grabbed a disposable e-cig.

1 week and half a day with vaping only ..... till about an hour ago :-( out of juice and only 1 cheapie carto left.
Can't wait to get a decent PV and full kit. I like vaping more than cigarettes (ok, so I hate cigarettes and have for years, but not sure how I'm gonna leave my pipes alone).

If you actually read all that, you've got way TMI, but well, I'm bored and antsy. Lol
