It's kind of silly, but I sometimes feel almost jealous when I read that some people started vaping 1-2-3 years ago. I first heard of electronic cigarettes about a year ago, but I got overwhelmed trying to decide what to buy, and just never got around to ordering anything until this January. I wish I would have made the effort at the start so I could be smoke free for a year too. :) Oh well, better late than never.

I'm 52. I'd smoked since I went through a nasty divorce, when I was 27 years old.

I discovered E Cigarettes a week ago, today. I can hardly believe it, I haven't 'smoked' once! I really quit the damned things. I'm so happy, I'm sort of bowled over that so many people did this the same way...

I'm really, truly, surprised that this worked SO well, and just how satisfying the E Cigarette is.

I'm an ex smoker, I didn't think I would ever be able to say that (I tried Everything: The patch/gum/losenges). I'm so happy.

:)

Started e-cigs back in 2007 till 2009, relapsed mid 2009 till New Years 2011, been off again since!

Started smoking when I was 18

I relapsed when my e-cig business went under (electrosmoke)...FDA/Customs seized a couple of huge orders, sent them back and I threw in the towel. It was way harder, being a vendor, back then. Im glad things seem to be going alot smoother nowadays.

I will be 39 next Monday. I started smoking when I was 16 and quit smoking on a daily basis after 11 years. I did continue to smoke off and on, but then picked up again a couple of years ago. I was tired of the cycle, and especially since I have young kids, I didn't want to effect their health. My husband is also a reformed smoker, and the smell of it really disgusted him. So that alone prompted me to stop analogs.

15 years, dam its scary to write that. At my age I cant say that I've been doing much of anything for nearly that length of time.
I blame it on my past and present girlfriends, I really didn't smoke much on my own. But if they lit up, then I would want to light up. Then it becomes a horrible cycle where you would smoke cuz they are smoking, and she would smoke cuz I was smoking.
