I have a couple of mini airflow control valves on their way from discountvapors. Should be in tomorrow or Saturday at the latest. The 'ACV' 's for my Protanks are working like a charm. Between the Rayon and those, I never tasted anything better and on top of that, I haven't had to change wicks in almost a week now since the switch to Rayon. Just Awesome!!
The Steampunk looks great on there Burnie!

The Rayon does seem to last a long time compared to cotton or silica, I like it a lot. Been using the Unitank with the standard wick (no time to rebuild tonight) and it is vaping good for what it is, but I will rebuild it and wick with Rayon this weekend to make it Better. :D Not a large tank, I have vaped 1/2 a tank in the last few hours, but no gurgles or dry hits. Took a few minutes on the new coil for it to taste/hit right, but it is doing good now.

I like the J-Wrap, Nice feel & look. The holes match nice from the Robust wrap, but it is a little short (1mm) and overlaps a little (3mm) but I fixed that with a razor knife, and I really like it.

My FT order still has one tank waiting before it ships, should be by Monday, then a 2 week wait. :(

I just got an email from Aquavapor, they are having a 4 Day Sale, 20% off and Free Shipping, Coupon Code save20, valid through Monday 9/15 till 11:59 pm EST. If you have been waiting to get a Hybris (or anything else like IMR batteries), or just want another for a good deal, now is the time to get it. Brings the cost down to $35.96 delivered. I have 3 already, 2 of them unused, so I don't need another, just letting everyone know.

It looks very tempting Burnie! :?: Thanks much for the info. I might just go for that. It's half of what I paid initially. Is that for the kit? I didn't go on the site to look. I'm actually in a hurry right now. I got my mini AVC's a half hour ago and working so fantastic. I'll post pics of the setup (mini Protank II, with AVC on Hybris) later- if not later tonight, they'll be posted tomorrow. It looks pretty cool and tastes wonderful. Gotta go- talk during the weekend. :)

Normal price is $44.95 for the kit (never seen the mod by itself for sale), less 20%, is where I came up with the price, and there is no freight.

Looking forward to the pictures. :D

Here's the pic. I have my handy 'glow in the dark' tip on it. It does work well, but I'm not really liking this version of the air control valve because it is Real difficult to turn the dial. So far, a real pain in the ....! There is a couple different versions of the mini ACV. I'm going to check out those to see if I might like them better. I believe this is an aerotank base?- not sure.

I haven't gotten any liquid from them because I ordered the Hybris from jwraps (vwraps). They sent me a bottle of the juice that they carry. It's called 'Sex'. Pretty hard to explain how it tasted, but all I got from it was a funeral parlor. It tasted like a very strong church incense. I hate to say it, but it's pretty nauseating to me.

Still thinking about ordering another kit Burnie. Nudge me a little?

Well decided to try my hand at making a wrap myself. Got some Inkjet Waterproof Vinyl, printed my own (could do about 8 with one sheet), and wrapped my VV V3 and carto tank (beauty ring also). Didn't turn out too bad. Should have gotten the removeable as this Vinyl has some monster glue, don't think it will come off without a fight.

VV.V3.Wrapped.jpg

I have some more printed, sheet took 8 pictures the size of the Hybris Wrap, used 2 on the VV V3 because I did the carto tank and beauty ring, so I got to decide which one to put on my #2 Hybris. :D

Well, I went for it! Thanks for the coupon code Burnie and the nudge. I selected watermelon for the juice and I will try it. I can never seem to get a company that does watermelon any good. There were a ton of good reviews on it, so we shall see. Nice job on the wrap! Oh, I will use my Robust wrap on my old Hybris since a new one is on its way. Exactly what did you have to tweak on it (the wrap)? Not sure if I understood what you had to trim for a perfect fit.

 You know you wanted to anyway. Hope your juice is good. I tried the Flue Cured I got with my first order. Not really bad, just not my taste. Also seems really thin, 100% PG? I normally use 60/40 in my DIY juice

Nice job on the wrap!
Thanks :) It was a pain doing all the cutting, but I liked how it turned out. Also put a wrap on my spinner/twist, futzed up the first I tried, but the second looks good. The Vinyl sample I got was matte white, no shine, so today I ordered a 10 pack of gloss white Inkjet Waterproof Vinyl (didn't have samples of it). I think it will look better with a little shine. :D

In the back there is about a 3mm overlap. I put it on and let it overlap (don't press down the top of the overlap really tight), then took a razor blade (paint scraper:facepalm:) and carefully cut down the center of the overlap (making sure to go through both pieces), peel the top piece of the overlap you cut off, then lift up that side of the wrap carefully, then peel the bottom piece of the overlap you cut off, then press the top back down, now it will aline to the cut you made down the back. Does not matter if it is exactly straight as both sides will be cut the same and line up to each other. The only way I can see the joint is because of the pattern difference. Try it a couple of times with a piece of tape or something just so you get the feel of what I am saying and you don't ruin your wrap. Not really that hard once you get the hang of it.

Thanks for the info. Now I will have to give you a nudge to get some Air Control Valves. Like I said before- Besides the improvement with using Rayon, these seriously top it off. Eric at Discountvapors has a nice variety of Kanger Mini ACV's and the 2 bigger ones for the Protanks were from myvaporstore, who had a better price on those. I'm using the mini's that I got yesterday and the flavor is awesome. I just sent an email to Eric asking if the other 2 versions of the mini that I saw are a little easier to twist. That's the only down fall with these (I got the 'Aerotank version') because when you do want to change the airflow, you have to be careful not to unscrew the device and when going the other way, you have to watch you don't over tighten (the head & the base into the battery), so what I've been doing is just taking it off the mod to adjust it (if needed). I'll let you know what he says and if the others are better, I'll let you know and you can decide if you want to get some...NUDGE.

Kanger Airflow Control Valve - Protank II, Protank 3, Aerotank
I'll be back with an answer on the mini's as soon as Eric replies. He's usually prompt, but I'm not sure about weekends.

(Edit: I'm sorry, Erics Protank ACV's ARE a little cheaper, but they're out of stock, so I'd still buy those at myvaporstore...only a .36 cent difference).

I have a couple of 20mm ACV, just no Mini ACV for the Hybris, not that I have a need for one at the moment, but will look at them. :)

Eric said they're all pretty stiff, but overtime, as I assumed, they'll get a bit easier to maneuver. I figure it this way-when you find the sweet spot, you shouldn't have to move it all that much.

Good idea. :) I had a hard time choosing which one to get and I ended up getting 2 Aerotank versions. 1 of each would have been a good idea (just for cosmetic reasons). I like how they both look.
It looks like my replacement VamoV5 should be in Vapemail tomorrow. It looks like it's almost at my doorstep. I've been dealing with that since June 21. I received a dud and had to send it back (faulty minus button). It's from focalecig (similar to FT). How about this price: $19.90! I wanted a second one, especially after seeing that price. My first Vamo (v2) is wrapped with the American flag. Had to wrap it because the finish (gunmetal) was destroyed in a matter of a couple of weeks. That shouldn't happen to this new one 'cause I ordered stainless.
