With the way all new mods are popping out, I think the Hybris has fallen by the wayside. :(
Still MY everyday mod, but I am seeing lots of stuff hitting the market.
Wonder if they are trying to get it all out before any regulations go into effect?
Did forget my extra batteries this morning, had to use my backup EGO in my truck, did work OK, but missed my Hybris. :)
Hope everyone is doing good. :D

I really have had no interest in the Hybris, but I continually check this thread just to see what ya'll are up to. It is truly a testament to your dedication to this device that you, IMRs and DancingHeretik have managed to create a thread this long for a device that really hasn't been "mainstream". Good job! :)

It's a Good Device, just most are going higher watts/volts, which I am not interested in, the Hybris does what I need it to do, keeps me off cigs, and is reliable. I have really abused mine, and they keep going like a Timex watch. One of the best I have used, and I have a lot of different ones. Stick around, we are not planning on going anywhere. :D

How are you liking the Semovar clone? I had never heard of it.

The Hybris has its place. It's basically a vapocalypse-proof Twist, but a little better. Small, but versatile. And, well made. It does seem to be our little secret though, doesn't it?

Works good, but the 1 button menu is hard to get used too, and it is a little weighty like all 18xxx mods. Had I not traded for it (some juice I didn't care for), I would not have purchased one. It is on the same lines as a ProVari. The OG is made in Germany (I think) and cost over $200.

It is not for the high power vapors, but I am sure a LOT of EGO users out there would love our little secret device. I might even have to order #6 next time they pop up a 25% off sale. I still have 2 that I haven't even opened, but I'm not sure how long we will still be able to get them, and I want to have spares. I also liked the LRider Robust, but 2 out of 3 broke within a month of use, which turned me off on them.

I felt the same way about the 1 button deal with my Sigelei's. In time, you actually get used to it, but I can understand where you're coming from. Sometimes I still get impatient with scrolling the menu, but most of the time, I don't have to bother with any changes on it while in vape mode. :)

Just amazes me that the people using the ego's don't find this!
You must've read my mind... I had the same thought go through my mind the other day about the regulations.. Hopefully they'll be gentle with us when it finally hits the fan.

Thanks Cotay. I've thought about it from time to time. Most of all, in the near past, I always wondered if anybody else would chime in, Now, I agree with DH and Burnie, it's kind of nice to have a layed back thread of our own AND a seemingly non existent mod that we only know about. :)

Guess I have enough to last a while.

Well after having to use an EGO battery the other day when I forgot my battery pack for the Hybris, I opened up #4 and setup a backup pack for my truck (which is where I work all day). Got the #4 Hybris & topper that comes with it, an Extra EVOD Silver topper, pack of 4 batteries (the Li-ion that came with #1 through #4), and a 10ml bottle of NT Wakonda juice, all in an EGO zipper case. I'll take it out every couple of months, use the juice and refill it, and top off the batteries. I figure WTH, after the 2 new ones get here (which shipped today) I will have 7, might as well make use of them. :D

Yep, Does take a while when it comes 1/2 way around the world. :(
But I have 2 more Hybris hitting today, not opening them, just going on the shelf as spares. :D
Very cool! Yeah, I AM excited about the tips. Just haven't had any on my list since the past summer and you'll be proud.... I broke another one the other day the same way (out of the dreaded pocket), so the replacements will be well taken care of.
Maybe I should start thinkin' about a lanyard patent for drip tips:facepalm:

Yep, that's what happens to mine.
I am getting good at putting my hand up to prevent it by habit now, but still forget sometimes. I think the threads are starting to strip a little on #1 because of it. Last time the other day I had to get a pair of pliers to get the cocked over Sophia out. Did break a few strands of the + pin, kept getting 0.0Ω. Thought it was the Sophia, but after I pulled up the center pin I noticed the 2 or 3 strands, clipped them off and is working OK now. Only time will tell, but with the abuse I have given it, I'm surprised it is still going.

Well #1 is out of action for surgery. :(
Guess the last time I dropped it, it split the insulator for the + center pin. Off and on I would get 0.0Ω reading, short. Lucky I ordered a 50 pack of them from FT a while ago. Was a pain to get the new one in but I got it. But looking at the wire, I think I am going to unsolder the + pin and re-solder it, just to be sure it is right. But it will be later this week before I can dig out the soldering stuff, so using #2 at the moment. BTW the wire pulls out over an inch, if yours ever needs a new insulator ring.
