He was not mocking the ProVari, but he was definitely Mocking it's users. Unless you honestly think that Pete actually does worship a ProVari like the last remaining humans worshiped the Doomsday Bomb in the "Beneath the Planet of the Apes".

This is his opening statement. If it's not a crack at the overzealous nature of the ProVari fanbase, I don't know what is:

"Let's just say you were to post something negative about the ProVari on Facebook or on one of the forums. Well, ProVari fans will not even need to read the post, they will somehow sense that someone is speaking negatively about their favorite PV and they will come and vigorously defend it."

It's Phill.

Edit:seems I was beat to it.

You and a bunch of other people did the same thing with the "Pete" thing so don't feel like the Lone Ranger.

It's all subjective. If someone hates one device, fine. If they sing praises of theirs, that's fine too. The people that get on my nerves are the ones who lump everyone into one hated category like so many have done in this thread toward provari owners, saying we're all snobs and elitists.
I'm a disabled veteran, kicked out of the Army for something they did to me. I live on government checks and feel like crap about that fact. I'd love to be able to work to support my family. I have no savings, don't own the house I'm living in, and only make it month to month. I'm far from an elitist and don't have the money to be snobbish. I'm a country boy from the mountains of Tennessee. I try to get along with everyone. I don't care if you drive a beat up old pickup truck or a Lexus SUV. You aren't defined by the things you own, you are defined by your character and actions. Disliking someone because of something they own is what's snobbish.

You can read as many pages as you can find on the web, and watch as many Youtube videos as you can, but nothing beats actually holding something and testing something in the flesh. That's why brick & mortar stores serve a purpose. Of course you can get it cheaper online. But in a store, you can actually touch, feel, and examine the item. What you lose in online savings you make up for in tactile and immediate response. This isn't a commercial, you can accomplish this in ANY brick and mortar.
