Does he make both 6 volt and 3.7 volt mods or all of them 6volts? Assuming you have a choice...which is the better one? Does he do a 3.7 volts AA battery mod?

Edo, I wish I could answer this ? I would send him a PM and ask directly, he is very busy building his mod for all of us, but I am sure he will respond as soon as he can

good luck

Thanks for the replies. Does anyone have both 6volt and 3.7volt mod and which do you like best. I am trying to figure out if the 6volt mods are overkill or not.

I made a magnum mod which I initially started using with a 3.7v battery and since then I switched it to 6v. I prefer the 6v although it does make the mod much more thirsty in terms of juice consumption. I vape low and no-nic juice so I like the massive hit I get with the 6v.

Thanks for the reply....does the 6 volts burn the liquid?...I am trying to figure out if you have to compromise taste with a 6volt device. Thanks.

No, but you have to make sure that the atomizer is moist. A dry atomizer and 6v is bad news. You also get used to taking shorter hits since the vapor and throat hit are so powerful.

It's here! Just got my first 901s from Ted. I've been messing around with it for awhile now and I love it. Can't wait to get my 901L next week. This thing is just amazing and so is Ted. When it first arrived, I had a problem with the ground. He was so quick to respond to my email that I didn't even have time to panic too much. He told me that he's changed the way he does the ground since he made the one that I purchased and offered to upgrade mine as soon as I get my long, but I got it working with a simple fix and I couldn't be happier with it. Vapor production is massive, it's much lighter than I thought it would be (a good thing), throat hit is good even with low nic juice. I hope he never stops making these because I never want to go back to a normal 901 again.

You do not sacrifice anything cos of the power,, I am finding that it breaks in beautifully, Ya need to keep the atomizer damp and even with the amount of force it delievers, I still can hit it w/o a cart at all. It never gets so hot that it needs a cart. It also has the ability to keep pushing and pushing the power for an intense and amazing vapor
It seems endless, yeah it really is a good product

I received some new juices in today from Vapor4life and to plug Smilin a bit, the juiice and the mod are a great combo,

This E vapor world only gets better

Man...you guys are making it so hard for me...I want to order one...but I promised myself I am not going to order anything else until my KR808d-1(Vaporkings) come in.

You are giving me a great idea, considering I have a serious thing going on w/ buying anything on the market and own 3 of SS2929's mods and I have 2 more other mods coming in from elsewhere, Maybe we should consider a "RENT A MOD" FOR A WEEK OR SOMETHING AND GET TO SEE FOR YOURSELF, it is just a thought, but this way you and others get to see what all the hype is about I may chat with Ted and other mod people and see what they think It is very difficult for anyone to know what or how great something is, until you touch and feel it for yourself

If you decide to buy it, then it can be dealt with then

Some thoughts
I am sure there are many people out there, that may be in the same position,, Today, you can lease designer pocket books, designer anything, cars etc, maybe we have something here????????

Cosican....the idea is really good...the logistics might be a deal breaker for some of the devices. Now I am assuming we are talking about mods here since they are the only devices expensive enough to rent. So how do you rent a SD for example if you live in the US?...Not from Trog certainly. So lets say you want to rent a LightVaper...I can Imagine this working if Ted says.... go ahead and rent it for a week for $20...if you like it pay me the difference and buy it.... if not you have to ship it back to me. That way the renter doesn't lose anything if he likes the device and is out only $20 if he doesn't. Now how does the modder know he will get his device back and not be ripped off? Maybe he can hold a deposit that will be returned when he gets his device back.

Another thing you could ask Ted is why not make a Mod for the Vaporking?...think about it... a mod that works with the Vk will also work with a 901 ato. But this mod would rock because with the VK cartridges....you won't have to drip every 5 hits. I love the VK not because it has the best TH or taste ( eventhough the TH and vapor is pretty damn good) but because I can vape heavy for a couple of hours without topping off or dripping. Now let say you are at home and want to drip vape... pop on a 901 ato and vape....no problem. I think you would have the best of both worlds with such a device. The only ting that would have to change is Ted would have to put a few holes beneath the battery threads....thats all.

Well, I have to give a huge thanks to Cos for starting this thread and the rest of you who contributed. I started using my 801LV today and it is truly remarkable. Without you guys, I wouldn't have ever known!

So when I sit back and relax and maybe read (like I did a bit today), I use my Mini Pipe. But when I want a power hit, I grab my LV.....awesome! I can't believe how few analogs I have smoked today

And in my opinion, the SD really has some stiff competition now....particularly with the LV being sold in the US. For the price, I ordered 2 more!

So it's me, my pipes and my LVs....doesn't get much better than that! And as a result, I'll be selling off my VK. That didn't end up working out very well for me anyway.

So it's time to spread the word! And thanks again everyone ;)

Sam I am thrilled to hear your feedback, I have never been one to promote or push anything, certainly on this site, Although I attempt to sell printing for the last 30 plus years, I felt it was important to let my fellow forum menbers know of what Ted has accomplished. Besides the fact the Ted is a great guy with a talent and ability to please a whole bunch of people, another thing you may not know about SS2929, is he is in school to become a PASTOR, so if nothing else, we can trust him, as we support him thru school. I currently own 3 LV's and I know as Ted goes thru the process of enhancing this product, the day will come, with our feedback and recomendations, the ULTIMATE ecig will be developed here in the states. I know he is close, however nothing is perfect, so as the days and weeks go by, the more feedback we can offer, the better the LV can become
I appreciate the props for bringing this to you, but now that you have the LV, what else could I have done
Go back to work TED

Lu...Which model did you get? .... 3.7volt or 6volt? I am glad it worked out for you. How is the build of the LightVaper? Is it built to last? Do you use carts or are you strictly dripping with the light vaper?

On to another point.....you turned me on to the VK, how come your selling it off?...The only weak point that I see so far is the battery life. I would wait and see if Ted can make his LV work with the VK. With the right equipment he could make the it work with VK carts in two minutes (see my post above). With the power of the LightVaper the VK carts could vape much better...just like the 901 ats vape better with it.
