How tremendous! A whole month of aaaaahhhhhh for El Desperado of Vamora:closedeyes:! I'm thrilled for you, my friend! Spill on what it is I've been practicing saying. I found it here - What's Under the Kilt? - Language - but without the translation, and I also realized it was supremely dweeby of me going looking for it (I'm a bit google slaphappy). That site is fun, but I don't know that I really trust it - I find it hard to believe that "the posh Scot thinks 'sex' is what the potatoes are delivered in." I double dog dare you to put the Sea Monkey death rate up in your home somewhere:laugh:! Yeah, I wish we had the technology to record a little sample of our voices and a button to click to hear a sentence or two on folks' profile pages. But I guess the Brains should be focusing on our personal jet packs first.

I'm one of those people who's pretty convinced I don't have an accent, but I know that's hooey if I travel abroad. I'll admit that I loved how tickled folks in England were with my accent when I spent my wonderful summer there. We're all sure gonna miss you when you're unplugged for so long, but I hope your holiday is just glorious (I know you're not shoving off just yet, but what'll it hurt to repeat that?)! I bet you've signed off, so it's gonna be a cliffhanger on the mystery sentence. I hope you're just a fish magnet tomorrow:2cool:. Some requisite lolcat -

Cheers becks. I finished second today from 5 entries and the fishing was hard. The winner managed 6lb made up of 3 small carp and nothing else. Caught these within the first hour of the match. Then it was so darned hot and humid the fish all hid and sulked in the depths of the lake. I managed 13 oz of 2-3 inch fishes for second place. But like i said it was a poor day to fish with the weather an all. Still a bad day at the lakeside is always preferable to a great day at work every time.
Now then the much anticipated translation for the practicing Scottish speech.
Braw = beautiful
Bricht = bright
nicht = night
the nicht = tonight
och aye = oh yes
the noo = now
so. It's a braw bricht moonlicht nicht the nicht. och aye the noo = it's a beautiful moonlit night tonight.oh yes.
I'll still be foruming until Monday nicht (see what i did there) and then no technology except for the occasional web search for golf tee times!

So funny a friend of mine asked what I was going to have the baby call me. I looked at her kinda weird and said Grandma. She thought I would have him call me something different because I am not that much older than his mom and dad. My hubby was married once before and is older than I am. She said that some of the younger grandma's her knows are called Aunt instead??? That is way to weird for me :blink:

This remind me when we had Shannon. I used to say to her " let's go visit grandpapapapapa" sometimes putting just a couple of extra papas on the end or sometime more than a couple just for fun. You should have seen grandpa's face when she said " I love you grandpapapa!" priceless memories and now that he's away to a better place she still remembers this.
My wife's daughter on the other hand has a 5 year old and she calls me Grandy because she already has a gramdpa (wife's first husband (and not much of one either. Also not much of a grandpa either but that's another story)) and i didn't really fancy grandad as a name as it just sounds like I'm an ancient old fuddy duddy . So now I'm grandy (my first name's Andy (not mediocre)). It works well for us. I don't believe it matters too much as long as you are the best grandmamamamamama there is

My chrome (was supposed to be the stainless version as that's the SKU I ordered when fasttech debuted the VAMO, but I digress) VAMO V2 is also showing the wear marks on the opposite side of the button from my hands.

I use mine in the short mode and the wear is on the side, below the button, where my fingers curl around to hold it. It has always felt sticky, which I attributed to likely having juice on my hands. I wonder if juice can take off the coating? I feel an experiment coming on...

I'm guessing it's brushed S/S then. If it really was chrome it would bright.

If the coating comes off and there is ss underneath, why does a ss finish cost more? :blink:

ETA: Now I'm not sure. I've looked at it too long and my brain has started to categorize all reflected light as degrees of shiny. More of the coating will have to come off so I can compare it to a known piece of ss. I have to stop staring at it before I losing the ability to discern "bright" as well.

You merciless flirt, you lol

Are you thus flirty IRL? I'm nosey.

Ocey.. you could leave the Vamo as is and go for the "shabby chic" look.. you may have to add a doily.. ever notice how that shabby chuc stuff always has a doily?

I have lots of doilies.

Could me modded into your very own Octopus PV.. for vape meets.. or.. who knows what
octodeezer_test_size.png

Oh! Is that what the Vamo would look like underneath if it's chrome?

Thank you for the thought She Who Owns It, but I have issues with personal space. Those tubes would have to be much longer, perhaps 12-15 feet, for me to feel comfortable.

Besides, I actually only want to play with one for a little while

Not sure if an Ocelot and an octopus would make such great companions. But that thing is kind of cool, don't think I would ever own one, unless it was just for the novelty of it.

I only want one temporarily.

Vamo is known to have issues with the finish, fanboy or not there is a good chance that as a Vamo owner they will have to deal with it sooner or later. The SS should be good, although I guess that is a crap shoot also.

I do admit that as far as bang for the buck, Vamo is hard to beat for those wanting to try more advanced APV's. Add the simple menu and the ability to use 18350 or 18650 batteries and it becomes even more attractive.

You prefer it to the mini Zmax? I know it doesn't have an extra tube, but one is supposed to come out. Vapor Joe has a coupon that brings the mini down to $42 +/- at Exhale ($2.99 shipping)

ETA: I don't recall you doing an in-depth review of the mini. How do you like it?

lmfao donno bout the flashlight bit...but I actually like it :) it's on my wishlist unless something better catches my eye between now and thanksgiving lmfao
I am not buying anything else hopefully until then....unless my ego craps out on me....

well I lie, I need a new evod...after 2 months mines got a crack in the mouth piece but that's el cheapo...
known anything cheap like the evod that can handle clove oil, cinnamon and other known tank crackers? I think I've come to find that I prefer the evod of the vivi nova.

Evod is bottom coil, vivi's are top coil. Chalk and cheese. I seem to have settled on all bottom coil devices. Evods, Protanks (glass so what you're looking for) and the Vapeonly. If you wait a while the protank 2 is coming out. It's got replaceable top and bottom parts, takes standard drip tips. Protanks take evod heads, so it's a logical choice for you.

thanks...so $5.70 Pyrex DCT Tank Atomizer (3.0mL) - black / 1.5 ± 0.2 this should work for tank cracking juices? I don't see any rubbery innards to break....

Because polishing S/S to a near mirror finish costs money too, possibly more than just giving it quick brush to remove scratches and spraying it with some lacquer.

I wish they didn't think that bare stainless steel just has to be polished. A brushed finish is more attractive (IMHO), doesn't show scratches as easily, can be done cheaply, and isn't 'slippery'.

It would make sense if the lacquered Vamo was brushed, as the lacquer would then have a textured surface to key into and would be more durable. It would appear more shiny though if it was given quick polish and then lacquered, however the lacquer would be more likely to flake off.

I'm also confused about the term "black chrome" because if it is lacquer as I suspect then 'chrome' has absolutely nothing to do with it. Maybe they think that 'chrome' is a coating, therefore all coatings are 'chrome'?
