Down to my wrists and funnily enough I'm better today. Had a bad night's sleep last night though and am currently waiting for the postman to call.We have the best postman. He even brings treats for the hound and gives tips on golf.( I play golf badly! some one once asked "what's your handicap?" and i was like "do you want a punch in the face or something?"). He normally get's here about 11.00 so only two more hours to wait for me to become El desperado of Vamora I hope.Haven't changed my signature strip yet.

Soon! I'm sending good wishes your way!!! And golf? I thought you people invented it. Shouldn't there be an ancestral memory you can tap into?

"You people"?

Easy there. I am actually of Scottish lineage.

I played a lot of golf in my 20's and got quite proficient at it. Then I got divorced and it has just never seemed as important to me. Actually, if I never play the game again it will be just fine with me.

Thank you, again, Princess P, for hooking me up with those emo videos. Youtube goodness. Lars is quite the precocious little teaser. I miss teaching the funny kids.

Cannon.. i love cheese.. i wrote a poem about it a few days ago... i would have cheese's babies...

There's a lolcat for that -

cheese-on-cat.jpg

And I STRAIGHT UP wanna read that poem!! Got my mom a huge gift basket o' cheese for this past Mother's Day. She was beside herself with the fromagic of it:closedeyes:.

You're a wonderful auntie, Peekebe. Your niece is super lucky to have you. But where'd Japan come from? Did I miss something? The Japanese DO consider owls lucky -

T minus thirty minutes 'til you enter the fair kingdom of Vamora, toker. Only golf I've ever played is the miniature variety, but I do kick a little .... at that - no clown's mouth has ever gotten the best of me:2cool:.

Here you go, Lion -

Scottish_Lion.jpg

I love Scotland and the Scottish (not only those bearing apples). Crazy that I only managed to spend a day there during my blissful UK trip. I can't wait to go back someday:closedeyes:.

Marvelous Monday vapes to all :vapor:!

becky b: so sorry for being such a numpty in you music games here's the apple i promised you for being such a mental case

myranny: you are such a rock for your sister: I wish i had a sister like you
Steph and whoshoe: what can i say but congrats and hope all works out. I have a feeling it will.{{{{{{{{{{both}}}}}}}}
ferrel: no need to be a stranger. keep in touch.
I've missed everyone's shenanigans because I've been run off my feet. I've only managed a quick peek on the cigarette newbie and the music game forums because of the gala stuff (photos to follow) also I've been through some hideous tests for a new job that have taken up my free time i would have normally spent here. Also I've been doing super early shifts for the last week and have not slept much in the last week. But all of that is behind me now. Only 16 more sleeps to my holiday to the states (YAY).
Here's a few pics of the Gala that took up so much of my time. my daughter was a lady-in-waiting.I didn't even win the best dressed house, although everyone agreed that i should have. A gala committee members family member won it.There you go BB that's your community spirit for right in a nutshell *sarcasm*. Funny thing was the winning house was called Viva Las Vegas. You couldn't make it up Becky.seriously.I asked Shannon if it would be alright to post her image and she nodded vigorously.she's gonna be famous methinks

Love the pics. Glad to hear the good news. It is good to see you back! I appreciate your compliment, but I did nothing special. Honestly, doing the right thing by my lioness was the obvious choice to me.

We do have some new blood here, and they DO seem interesting. What more can we ask for in our collection of personalities here?

Good morning, Steph! Have you seen this -

vamo_team_t_shirt-rc871e47832f647c3bae5c4749faaf106_8nazl_325.jpg
?

As Lady Pancake of Vamora, it's gotta be something to consider. Not sure about its $27.45 price tag - Vaporladylounge | Zazzle.com Store. But it beats the clutch for $52.95:?:. Then again, they'll make you one for less and with a dolphin here - T Shirts, Posters, Stickers, & Personalised Gifts | CafePress. Great site for cheap gifts, too (I make no profit from saying as much, okay:p?). Hope you kick your week off right today!
OMG! I must have it! But much later down the road. Now a days ALL money is seen as part of the "get me to Pittsburgh" fund :D

Peekebe.. what a caring aunt you are.. it's good that your niece has you to confide in..
I made the choice not to have children so my nieces and nephews are kind of my babies. . The oldest two of my older sister are adopted from Russia. . So when then other two biological babies came along, my eldest niece was struggling with the attention the younger two were receiving. (Being a brat.. shutting down socially..etc..)
Thankfully it was just a phase and she has become the bestest big "sissy" :) Sending peaceful vibes your way, hon. (Hugs)

That's me back from golf hurriedly expecting aforementioned vamo. I hope the batteries are already charged because I'm running out of flesh to gnaw on.
Incidentally. I'm not Scottish, i only live here. Wife's orders:D
See we do do what we are told sometimes.
Well the postman's been and all he bought me was a cradle for my sat nav. Thinking of taking some e juice to work with me just in case i need a hit. You can drink this stuff right?
Anyway needs must. The vamo should be here tomorrow but to be honest I'm kinda through the worst of the withdrawals now. The first 2 days are always the worst tasting cold turkey don't you think. Still addicted to nicotine though and will be vaping my head off soon. just know itThanks for all the messages of support though. Got to go and work AGAIN.Only 10 more shifts to work and not get the sack before my hols..... 16 more sleeps to USA

I made the same decision Skyz, no kiddo[s for me. But I love my sisters girls so much. They used to live in CA and I would get out to see them every couple months. They moved to Japan a little over a year ago and I have not been able to visit. They will be over there for another 2 years and I miss them all so very much. She is such a sweetheart and is very sensitive. She gets overwhelmed very easily and we have always had this very special bond between the 2 of us. Plus she is getting to that age where emotional mood swings creep up on you and you really can't explain them very well. I just need to hug her so bad!!! If only plane tickets were as cheep as they were to fly to CA :)

Sometimes it's just the keywords, but yes search engines have come an awful long way in 20 years. I can still only find information about the 17th century frenchman called Cadillac though. I presume there is a Louisiana one? If it's not on the first page I change or re-order my search terms. Google seems to give more priority to the first search terms.

I'm constantly amazed at the fuzzy logic used by Google and how well it works. It will find related terms, and in most cases will still work even if you make a typo and spell it wrong.

LOL! Anyone remember the Alta Vista search engine? It was essentially the first to successfully index the web at the time. A series of bad management decisions ultimately led to it's demise sadly ... :(
