Lord Pancake
this morning as he gets ready for work today. *yawn* *stretch*(
Thank you! Tubing sounds like fun - worth getting a little banged up for.
I just looked at my avatar...

La-La La La-La La!
i hope she remains a "guest"....they were pushing hard for her to be a hostI wonder if that's was why on mod Envy they asked the guest woman if she was Libertarian?
i am all for less government in my *personal* affairs/choices but....she was very vocal about her label...seems to be more of theSeriously though: pre-18th century libertarian, modern American libertarian, outright anarchist... so many choices?!?
LOLHottie one trick I use for vivi/protank heads.
Grab a paperclip and unbend it. Hold the paperclip wire WITH the wick and do your coil wraps around both. Leave the clip in until AFTER you have the 2 wire legs locked in by the rubber grommet and the metal plug. THen just slide the paperclip out.
This does a couple of things. It keeps me from wrapping too tightly and choking off the wick. It also helps me NOT pull the legs so hard that I sink the coil too far down into the base of the head.
The 2 easiest places to get shorts are accidentally crossing the legs inside the head base and letting coil touch the head metal.
with 32 gauge kanthal on a 2.5 mm wick...4/5 wraps usually gets me in the 2-2.3 ohm range depending on how tight I wrap

I do something similar, however I use a large gauge sewing needle and 3mm wick. At first I used to lay the needle alongside the wick but found that while the coils are good, they aren't particularly round. Then I hit on the absolute *best* trick. I now push the needle up the center of the wick - not too hard to do - and then wrap it. When the needle is removed the coil is still perfectly round and works even better. This is how I wrapped my series dual coil too; I never would have managed except for that.

I'm afraid if I try to rebuild heads I will find out just how badly I need glasses!!
I know the feeling. I've had wire and wick since before December sitting in my vape station.
I just saw this video that I 'might' try, if I can find the screw and threader thingy.
Machine screw coil wrap for Vivi Nova / Kanger T3 - YouTube
My RDA from Fasttech has oval coils, I don't really think that was the intention, but it is 2.4 ohms like advertised and works pretty good, so I left alone for now. The top on this thing fits tight, even when lubed with ejuice, it is the Empire/K100 theme with black and silver as the colors. For around $5 it was a steal.
The Igo W has a pretty tight fitting top also, it has a 2.5 ohm coil that I made, but I just made my coil round, I have no imagination.
What size and type of material are you using for the sleeve Schnarph, and where did you get it? I just may give that a try sometime.
Yay, Steph is getting close to being with Lord Pancake, congrats and I hope the move goes as smoothly as possible.
! The year smoke-free is the real achievement, but congrats on your new status, too, Princess P
!
Is there any wonder why we all love when you come around, most beautiful secret Empress
?
!!!
! On a vape note, I saw you mention that Boge bottom-feeder, Sir Fab; I had one, and I've heard too many stories just like mine: stay far away from that one
You're just too, too right on that one...five serious concussions before I met all y'all, too [insert hit head one too many times jokes here]. I'm a short person in a very tall person's body, and those beams in parking garages and such are so darn low
!
to hottie for joining Myrany, Sir Steve, Fab, Wizzle, Schnarph, and the rest of the wrapping wiz kids around here! I knew you were heading in that direction, and I'll admit that you all really do impress me. Because of that, I'm gonna forgive you for bringing Physical up in here, hottie
