I worry about Ferrell also. He did have that protection order for the former roommate.

Schnarph and Chimps have also kind of dropped out lately. Ferell has been gone awhile, and I too hope everything is alright with him.

Not to stir the pot again, but I've been wracking my brain trying to figure out who that might have been. I want to make sure I didn't inadvertently hurt someone's feelings.
I can see a huge difference in the posts, so I imagine it wouldn't be hard to track down who no longer posts.
Starting with the attacks by the moderators, the pervert who thinks cheer leaders are obscene, this would have been the last straw to many. I personally only drop by when I see a post by you. The rest of the fascinating people no longer post here.

I still say this thread has a family feel to it. Just like with most families, people get their feelings hurt. Usually apologies happen in PM and injured parties come back. Sometimes it cannot be undone.
Then there are the people that feed on controversy and disrupt the flow. Ahem. Make accusations. Then usually disappear.
As with most threads that are very long and have been around for a long time, there are always shifts in people. Some stay, some leave. New people come in. It's called changing and adapting. Every longstanding thread goes through such changes. Sometimes the tone of the thread changes as people move in and move out.....or even Moved On.
I consider Chelle and Oscelot the heart of this thread. I'm not knocking anyone else. You all have a role in the way the thread grows and expands. No matter what Chelle may feel about it, it is her thread. She is the owner, since she is the one that started this huge ball rolling.
. We are along for the ride. Some drive for a while. If you're looking for drama and controversy, this may not be the thread for you. We really don't want the mods having to visit. Enough visits and this thread goes bye-bye.

I just gravitated here because I saw some familiar posters that I thought were pretty witty. I still mostly lurk, trying to post only when I have something to add (subjective, I know...). This community as a whole has been very welcoming as a rule and I appreciate there will be "cells" of people. I'm just glad you're all here to hobnob with, learn from and sometimes simply waste time.

Well my personal feelings are that being married means that you don't have girlfriends. I don't mess with married women, either....fortunately I have avoided that particular condition. But I do believe being married means monogamy.
But, not all guys are like me. Some (believe it or not) don't strictly follow the code of ethics. Some don't see anything wrong with it at all, some do, but cannot help themselves. Some get caught up in the moment and....well you get my point. Just because me and you don't think its right, doesn't mean it can't happen.

I seem to recall he wasn't granted the order. Perhaps he had to move.
Personally, I don't think anyone was "chased off." I think it was a touch of Uh, oh, drama alert and they just backed away when they felt like they were being asked to pick sides and weren't in the mood.
I read back through the thread a bit more. I have been copying posts that drive me nuts all along. The only times we have received warnings were when members' names have been posted. My Lordship has been posting cheerleader pictures all along too and we females have posted beefcake. As far as I know, the Earl's cheerleaders haven't been deleted here, only in main threads where more people see them and might be offended. I posted a video here that was deleted in under a minute, as I didn't realize how truly offensive it is (sonic must have seem it before ). As far as I know, no one here has been issued an infraction notice for posting on this thread, which logically would be issued before the thread would be shut down.

Grrrrrrrrrrr, having one of those vaping days. Put my Protank on the Spinner and took it with me when I went to run errands today, promptly flooded the darn thing beyond belief. No biggie, just use the Smok DCT on the Sigelei V8 I brought along as a backup, except of course when I pushed the fire button all I got was - -, grrrr. So I tried the firing without inhaling technique hoping to clear the Protank, worked a little bit.
On the way back I removed the Protank and had a small lake in the center pin area of the Spinner, took a paper towel that I always carry in the car and soaked it up, then I put the towel under the 510 connection of the Protank and blew out another lake. Put it back and it has worked fine since. I have to remember how easy the draw on the Protank is, just refilled it last night after it sit for a month and forgot you just can't draw like crazy on them.
Got home and changed the carto in the Smok tank, put in back on the V8, and got - -, again. Took off the battery door, and lo and behold when I charged the batteries I put one of them in backwards.Put the batteries in the right way, and it worked, go figure.
Refilled an old carto tank that had just been sitting around. Put the carto into the wrong end cap, filled the tank and got Banana Cream everywhere, sheesh, drained the tank, put it together right and got it ready to go, flooded
I think I might just drip something, but I would probably have problems with that.
hate days like those....days you just knew you shouldn't have gotten outta bed
