The joyetech eMode. Hmmm... The unit looks cool, except the attys look like the "C" kind. I hope they're not.

"C" atty:

What do you think?

Someone else posted a thread about that, looks like joyetech is using a variation of the ego c atomizer and the Evic MVR software in a different device. Appears to have the 5V limit and the power ring is marked with both volts and watts, with the option of having the volts/watts vary over the course of your draw.

Very sleek looking, but I think Joyetech tweaked two already existing things and combined them, (Evic & Ego c atty). The threading on the clearo looks like it may be 510, if so I wonder how well it plays with other toppers. Even though I am not interested in buying the device, I am interested to see the reviews once it hits the market.

I am the same way. I have owned several Joyetech products. They were great transitional devices. I still use my eGo Twists today. I don't think I would purchase this mod, but I am interested to hear how the reviews go!

Just looked at the video with the music and everything. Had to stop myself reaching for the credit card. That video is just hypnotic. The Mrs. just walked in and saved me from myself. Nice one guilt:blush:

They have some nice videos. I've seen at least one where they gave the music composer credit.

Still, the videos bring me back to the Janty MiD "One." It had such happy theme music, upbeat, friendly, full of promise...

Now it's rather heartbreaking to watch, knowing how quickly it will be crushed by the eVic. It's little hopes and dreams shattered, and the happy song never to be heard again.

And the whole commercial is like an iJanty. "oh, do you think I am pretty now"

I'm so in to the whole Janty stick thing, I have never used one and keep searching for one to buy...

This thread moves fast, or maybe it's because I've not been around for a week or so, but anyways, I've just spent the only hour I have free at the moment posting in the new members section and checking in on you all.

*looks around* yep, looking good...carry on.

What is this thread? Lol

Just a bunch of us hanging out and sharing things that really don't have a place in the regular forum, kind of a social thing with lots of vape talk thrown in. You have probably read some of the members posts in other threads, pretty good bunch.

The use of the C atty has me puzzled. The eCab and eRoll use a version of it that doesn't have threading at all, it pops in and the point punctures the bottom of a small "tank/cartridge" filled with your own liquid.

The eGo-C, uses a similar atty, but it fits in a based (If you've got that kind. My first kit says "eGo-C," but is the older kind with a 510 atty & foam cartridge). I've never seen a C atty in person, but it still looks to me that puncturing is involved. Why else would the atty have a sharp end? I can't figure out from the picture below where the juice is. It looks like something is missing. Is there still a cartridge that goes on top? Mine has one of those cone covers and it covers the atty and the cartridge.

I'm going to have to watch the video again.

Its like the old eGo T tank system. The sharp edge does puncture the bottom of the tank. This system works well for the first tankful, but then, inevitably...the atty gets hot, the plastic melts just a bit, and the leaks begin. The attys were too expensive, and so were the tanks, and they quickly drove me to the world of T2 clearos. The T2 was like a dream after the ridiculously leaky tank system.

When I bought my first little 650 MAH ego C upgrade Passthrough last year they were pushing the ego c system as some kind of wonder setup. Fortunately even though I wasn't a member yet I did some research and avoided those mini tanks, unfortunately I bought two CE4s that leaked and had a awful hard draw.

I found the T2 shortly after that, I still have it, and even though it has developed cracks, it still doesn't leak. I still have a spare T2 sealed in plastic.

On the eMode the atomiser does not have a sharp end, and has holes around the *outside* as well. It locks in with a bayonet fitting on the bottom. I'm thinking that the center pointy up thing might actually be the air path, and the juice enters via the holes around the outside and is soaked up by a filler. I think they've taken the cartridge atty idea from the Ego-C system and turned it on it's head. What is not clear from the information they've made available is how the juice goes from the removable tank into the holes around the atty. Maybe it's double wick.

What could possibly go wrong with that?
