So, should I get a provari?
Maybe yes, maybe no; you have to decide for yourself. A ProThingy is VV, not VW, so it requires a nano-second of cerebral activity to remember the approximate resistance of the delivery device to be used.
With VW, memory appears to be less important with regard to knowing the resistance of the delivery device - some, in fact, claim it is completely unnecessary to be aware of such information at all. That allegation, however, could give rise to speculation that if the basic underlying electronic principle of operation is unnecessary to comprehend, an inexperienced user might takes the "set it & forget it" anthem literally, set the device at 7w and trust the voltage will be adjusted appropriately when shoved into a wall socket.
Both VV & VW require the user at some point to push buttons to adjust something up or down that makes the juice they are
vaping taste good to them. But again, taste is in the eyes of the beholder.
ETA: I now see in subsequent posts you already have ProThingys. Please do not pull my tail in the future.
