You know there was a strange anime called Bobobobo a few years ago. A man in an afro fought evil barbers with his extra long nose hairs. I can't say I was a fan, but watching an episode sure left an impression.

Sounds like most of us are having a rough Sunday.

I managed to spill half a bottle of cinnamon redhot concentrated FLAVORING all over myself. The crap literally burns the skin. 3 showers latter + a good wash with baking soda and I am not burning anymore but dang I am tender. Worse I can't get the scent of it out of my nose so now every single juice I have tastes like cinnamon red hot.

Ouch I'm sorry. Glad you were able to get the burning sensation to subside though. The nose is gunna be a lost cause for a few days probably. Don't worry though you'll be tasting yummy things again in no time

It's not thrush Chelle, everything was tasting good yesterday again for a little while.
it's my sinuses finally opening up and draining down my throat, messing with my sense of smell/taste. Sorry you feel bad Ferrel, sorry your prothingy is sick. Ouch Myrany ...sorry you got burned and all.

Yes, but you can get thrush after the antibiotics, especially the Z-pak, and it will make you have mouth sores and stuff. Sorry, I just came off my shift and we did an endoscope on this woman and the thrush (yeast infection) was so bad (THICK) it was hard to complete. She had been taking a LOT of heavy duty antibiotics...forgot to tell you to try to eat some yogurt (live culture) or to take some probiotics while on your heavy duty antibiotics. It will be better for your stomach and helps keeps those yeastie beasties in check. I guess I am thrush-brained right now! (It was a really gross procedure!)

How was work?

It was nice got some overtime and my "ladies" were in today. There is a funny story about them that the mods may not like but I will keep it the rules.

I first met my "ladies" about 9 years ago when I was the movie and video game guy at my local blue box (not sure if I can name names), I literally was that guy who a customer would walk up to me ask for "That movie with that guy in it" and I would nail it usually on the first try.

One day these two women walk in, who manage to turn the heads of about every guy there. They head over to the DVD player section and get a DVD player then head to me to get some movies. After about an hour or so with um they have a stack of 30 movies that they are buying and we are talking as they head up to the registers. After they are done (Paying in singles) they turn to me and thank me for my help. About a week later it's 30 more movies and some more friendly chat. We repeat this for about two months. They always work with me and me alone, always buying about 20 - 30 movies and always paying in singles. About this time rumors start flying around about my "customer relations" with these two women. Well we get to talking and joking about it and they explain that they are (like we had not already guessed) "dancers" for a gentlemen's club and they like me because I don't hit on them or treat them like they are going to go into their act in the middle of the store. However, an opportunity can't be missed. So we decided to be fake flirty to the jealous glares of the other guys working there.

Over the years I've gotten to know these women quite well. They are smart as heck and about to retire (in their mid 40s to boot) since their money went into property and they have several profitable buildings in the area. Since they do a lot of their own repair work I also see them a lot in my current job. It's always a hoot to see the looks on the guys faces when it's so clear that "somethings going on" when in reality it never has and never will.
