oh no i own a provari does that mean i am a fan boy
oh wait i fell in to the zen atty ploy too lmfao vape or not to vape is the question

Hello and nice to meet you! It is perfectly fine to love your ProThingy, I love mine too.

You will be labeled a fan boy if you: go to the New Member forum, jump into a thread without reading the original question, see that the members are currently trying to explain mAh to the OP and state that the new member should get a ProVari/Vamo/Whatever (no matter what the limit of his/her budget), because everything else is junk and they will end up with one anyway. If someone points out that suggesting an advanced mod isn't appropriate for the new member's situation, you continue by saying that Twists and Spinners are cheap Chinese cr@p and the OP will have to replace them every few months at $25. a pop, instead of just replacing the batteries. And then you zip off of the thread leaving the rest of us to explain that with a mod they would have to buy a charger, batteries, back-up batteries and still have to have money left over for something to put on top of it and juice. Plus, by now VV/VW trolls have likely been attracted to the thread and will fight until the thread is shut down.

A fanboy/girl leaves a new member even more confused and implies that if a person can't afford a ProVari/Vamo/Whatever their only option is to buy junk that will break and may blow up. Fanboys argue and possible insult members who are offering the new member advice that is actually relevant. Fanboys don't take into consideration how fortunate they are to be able to afford a cool mod, which isn't true for a lot of people. They also forget that at first people often are skeptical that vaping will really work and are reluctant to buy expensive gear. Fanboys love their mod, they think it's the best in the world; it may well be, but if a family is at a used car lot looking at cars in their price range and a guy pulls up in a Mercedes and tells them all other cars are junk, he is a fanboy. Actually, he is something else, but I can't post that word here.

If a New Member posts that they are looking for a high-end mod and would like recommendations, telling them all the reasons you like yours is not being a fanboy - although the VV/VW trolls may accused you of being one.

You do have a point about the thicker glass being harder to warm up. I had not though of that before.

That seems to be what was causing the leaking problem. The glass kept the juice very cold and the coil just sputtered and gurgled. I'm not having that issue now that the weather is warmer.

Things I wish I did not learn:

Just how thick the glass of a pro tank is :(.

It took quite a fall on cement to do this. You can all thank some fat kid on a bike riding along shoving people for that one. May he hit a tree on his way home.

Vamo survived and I need a new tank, but luckily this was one of three so I am still good. And we all learned something today.

When I broke mine awhile back, I wasn't worried about the tank. I was totally bent out of shape over losing a full tank of juice! LOL!
Now that you have spare parts make yourself a dripper. (no condoms required) hehehe!

Never had that problem. But I always carried it in my pocket.
I have found if leaving them in a hot car, they wont flood if you crack the base loose. Seems to work for T3, Mt3, Evod & iClear's too.

The part of my house where I keep my gear is very cold in the morning, basically it's like an uninsulated garage, so I imagine most people won't have the same problem.

Ohhhh. I am so glad I listened to Myranny and ordered some flavors. I ramped up my cheap, but smooth LIQUA: cherry (made Black Cherry) grape (YUMMY) and made Cotton Candy! citrus mix!

I got all kinds of FLAVA! Possibilities endless! Yay! (And it was cheap, too!)

Next up: Citrus Blend with some Almond Amaretto flavoring...s/b like Grand Marnier, No?

You got the Vamo! What color?

It's in the mail, but the vendor told me since I ordered 1st class and not Priority there isn't a tracking number. Oh, sigh, small clueless businesses. We had an interesting conversation:

I asked him if he was going to get anymore of the sparkly batteries in and he said no. I pointed out that he is the only vendor I could find that sold them, but he said that they didn't sell as fast as he thought they would. I pointed out that they likely didn't sell because no one had heard of him until Vapor Joe posted his Vamo deal (He's backed up on Vamo orders). I remarked that if he did get more sparklies his only competition would be Vapor Girl, since she's sure to carry them at some point. He said Vapor Girl had come to one of their areas vape meets and sold out of her blingy stuff (well, duh, everyone knows who she is) and a month later people were complaining that the batteries died (well, duh, everyone knows her stuff is cr@p, but it's fun to play with).

I asked about ECF, but he said he learned the hard way about non-registered vendors posting in forums and was banned. I wonder if there is a time limit or appeals process.

Anyway, the Vamo with the black chrome finish that comes off in a week, shall be here at some point.

And you would be!
Flat top

Cr@p, all I have are button tops. I couldn't put an AW IMR in it?

ETA: Never mind. I just did some covert spying in the Vamo forum and lots of them use the same batteries I do.

Shame on you Wizzlefits! I am attempting diplomatic relations and you are acting like a mole.

LOL!
You should be able to use button top sparkly thingies. I can stack 2 18350's with no problem. & to be honest, the stacked config (dare I say.... I dare) "hit harder!
It will run your atty at a different PWM, meaning, your attached device will have more available power than a single 18650.

never mind...
Just give it a try & you'll see what I mean. :)

Why aren't modders making auto firing mods? Like firing automatically when you drag.

Some do. See the modding section.

If by 'modders' you mean commercial e-cig builders...auto batteries are more common than they are for the DIY stuff.

For modders...those that build their own e-cigs from scratch (DIY)...it's a PITA because you have to have an air-tight tube with a vacuum sensor switch which is a bit more than a button that most like better anyway.
