You know Becky there has not been any really noticeable changes. Before the passed the bill there were the medical places everywhere, seriously everywhere. Now many of them are closed. Which kinda makes you wonder how carefully they were checking for the medical cards. I think it was really just a thin vail to get around the old rules. I am glad that it passed, I think there are much bigger things to worry about.

Right on, Aaron! As I told you, I got to see The Mars Volta live once; had such a blast. And he is great to look at. Sir Steve, you are right that I shouldn't take out my antipathy for his parentage on little demon spawn North West.

Sadly you are probably right, the kid doesn't seem to have a chance. Little North will live what he learns, and look at what is doing the teaching.

All that said, it's hard to have TOO much pity for a kid who'll have a zillion dollars. I know, I know, that's not what counts when you come down to it, but still...

After I get my .... to NOLA, Colorado is another part of our country I'd love to visit some day, Peek. Everyone I've met who's been there has said it's just glorious to behold.

Sorry, again, for the rough times for you all recently.

Good morning all.

Oh....chelle dear.....chelle.......Yo...chelle.......
This post:

has a correctly done pic in it. So you did it properly. However, the server that is serving up the pic won't give it up without a fight. Some servers don't like people "hot linking" to their pics.

It's a bit of an internet controversy. Some sites only let your browser view pictures if they are from their own web page. Another site (like ECF) requesting the pic....won't work. Sometimes it works for 10 minutes and then substitutes another pic, or just won't serve it up anymore.

Sites like that are a pain. It's hard to tell ahead of time. Certain sites are known to be a problem. I try to avoid visiting them too, since they are richards about the whole thing. That way they don't get any extra advertising revenue from my going to their site. Kind of a boycott. I sort of see their point due to bandwidth costs, but ECF caches server-side images so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

So in the above case, it's either an invalid URL, or it's a ....-head site.

She was trying to link to a picture in a slide show, which won't work since it's the wrong format.

I do hope that everyone is having a fantastic Thursday!! I've been enjoying my Vamo very much the past few weeks, although I am starting to get the mech mod itch and have been spending the past few days window shopping the gorgeous offerings around the interwebz. If it weren't for the layoff, I would most likely have made a purchase already, but for now I will probably just continue the window shopping.

The power and internet was knocked out here last night with some pretty good storms rolling through. :( All fixed now but it was pretty boring for a while there.

Sorry to hear about the broken Protank Steph!! If you haven't seen it already, check out Kanger Protank Top Only if it was just the top that broke on you. Pretty cheap assuming you still have a good base to put with it.

You can get a full k100 mech kit on fastech for under $40. THey have several other mechs at decent prices as well. I know I saw one for $17 but I will be danged if I can remember the name of it.

if you uncheck the "Retrieve remote file and reference locally" any size should work

i don't know if i am going to be able to catch up....i am on my deathbed...ok not really but i think i might die from how terrrrrrrible these t4 clearos are...i feel like i am seriously sucking on an electrical fire....even at really low V on a supposed 2.5ohm....
i mean i could see 1 being a dud but so far i am 2 for 2....i don't think they are rebuildable....should i DOA them back to FT? i took one apart without damaging it to see if i could fix it...i don't think it comes apart :( DOA ticket opened!

Probably a wicking problem, not a resistance problem. The non-rebuildables have to be made properly, because you can't open them up very easily to fix them. Are they CE4/startdust pattern? Only thing you can do is when you take the drip tip off, use a pair of pointy tweezer to pull the silicone cap off the post. V notch it where the wick goes (about 1mm only) through either side, then re-insert it. Fixes most CE4/stardust/CE5 etc top coil wicking problems.

Caterpillar Chihuahua Ranters (The Ocelot, TM), but I WAS hoping someone would play a little CCR:2cool:! I've had various notions about the thread band's name along the way, but I insist that the name's gotta come from chelle. With all due respect to Princess P, that's just a placeholder until chelle decides on something. Sorry about your Protank, dolphin:p!

I like you BB, but you got to own it. I never thought The CatChi Ranters was a band name, except in the sense of a band of know-it-all-do-gooders, dedicated to stamping out stupidity, promoting the Chinese economy and keeping chelle from getting banned, all though the use of sarcasm, rapier wit, thinly veiled passive-aggression and random postings of "Kenya." We are not sheep! We don't follow flipping burgers! While we may soon be disguised as a band (when an appropriate name arises), in reality we are proverbial cape-wearing crusaders!

As a Princess Heroine, I must carefully choose what stupidity to battle. When I feel the slightest indication someone is trying to get under my skin and pull me down to their level, I must bow and fly away...then passive-aggressively post about it here.

A member who's been vaping <3months (yes, I'm a snob), but has lots of toys ("2 mods, a genesis style RBA, multiple eGos and eGo twists, tons of juices and a Kanger Protank in the mail which I can’t wait to try"). Posts to a new member who hasn't vaped yet:

"Get this starter kit His FT choice of kit [It's a couple of standard 900mAh eGos and EVODS]
BUT there is a small problem with this kit. The resistance of the atomizer heads is to high [they are 2.6Ω]... So... go here [some US vendor, it doesn't matter] and buy 5 spare 1.5 ohms heads... youll need some eventually anyways."

As you all know, I'm of the opinion that a first kit should have at least one authentic Joyetech Twist or Vision Spinner in there somewhere, but whatever. My concern about the post, however, was the resistance of the heads, since the output of the battery is unknown.

Following some pompous posts he directed at other members, who backed down (out of politeness, not because they were wrong)

I posted:

"I tend to cringe with advice starting with Get, as opposed to a suggestion, but that's just a personal thing with me.

My comment on this suggestion is the resistance of the replacement heads. Perhaps a variety of resistances might be a better recommendation. The kit doesn't appear to be variable voltage and generic eGo are ≈3.7v. 2.6Ω heads (if accurate) would be a little over 5 watts on that battery - a bit cool for some people, but not all - yet 1.5Ω (if accurate) would be over 9 watts, which would fry every juice I vape. People have different preferences.

As far as 'youll need some eventually anyways,' the only things I have that are 1.5Ω are dripping attys. Yes, this entire post is about me, but I'm legion."

He responded:

"Sorry if I sounded like "I know the ultimate kit that you need" its 3:00 am lol.

your suggestion is right that maby he could get some 1.8 and 2 ohms as well but under load... an ego will not fire at 3.7, not for a long time at least, I never burnt any juices with an simple ego battery."

I responded:

"I don't want to sound argumentative at all - I promise! Really! Really! But standard, regulated Joyetech eGos fire at ≈3.2v and while the generics may fire at that voltage, most of them are 3.7v."

He responded:

":)You might be right. I never really checked the real output of a non regulated ego.

But! I seriously doubt he'll burn his juices with them :D If he does... I will apologize. I promise!

:toast:"

Ocelot. Must. Leave. Now. I didn't say anything about unregulated eGos - which, just so you know, come off of the charger at ≈4.2v and the voltage goes down as the battery discharges. Supposedly, it goes down to 3.7v and hangs around there for awhile before going down to 3.2v and shutting off, but without a meter the exact voltage at any given time between freshly charged and dead is unknown.

I might be right about that, but it's not certain because he hasn't checked. If it's unregulated, as he now appears to state it is, I seriously hope our new vaper enjoys his first vaping experience at almost 12w.

Thank you all for again for allowing me to rant.

Just means you've gotta work a little harder to find the good stuff that's still out there, Atty. When it comes to music, Pandora and lastfm are terrific; but, yeah, North West definitely has me thinking of Rosemary's Baby; gotta agree on that one:unsure:...

ETA - Must remember "reply with quote". The ripped vegan does not mean any of the above:laugh:! Hiya, Aaron:). I have no problem with pretty scrawny, but I somehow doubt that would surprise anyone.

I like 'em lithe ;)

How far back does a nosy ocelot have to go to figure out what demon spawn you're talking about?

First of all, Princess P, on a note unrelated to the quote above, you know that the rants of our Wrangler, our Most Beautiful Empress (in disguise to slum it), and all the CatChi Ranters (The Ocelot, TM) will always have me echoing Oliver -

Back to the quote...you mean to tell me that you seriously don't know about the demon spawn of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, North West (yes, they seriously named it that)?! Um...no checkout stands in not quite Wonderland?

Naw Chewy was just too cute and cuddly to me sort of a shaggy dog. Not my thing :)

I love those shaggy dogs (gosh this thread's gotten hormonal all of a sudden:laugh:)! Another musical boyfriend, shaggy as all get out, even with short hair, Adrian Orange -
