Morning Becks :) Happy Saturday y'all :) i should come here more.. i just read about hottie's protank issues and learned a few things. I hope you get it sorted out hottie!

I hope the hail didn't harm you Ocelot!

Eddard.. what kind of "interesting" ya talkin' about? Lol

Becky.. i LOVE that tree! What is Gala day??

Uh, well, there was this incident about 7 or 8 months ago at this same place I was last night.

Flashback to the Fall of 2012:
I was with my GF, and she and I were with a few friends. Two of them were this couple we have known for some time. So anyway, I overindulged a bit (it was the last time I have done so) and the wife is a tall athletic blonde girl who is quite attractive. Anyway, I got quite the handful while we were having our goodnight hug with some aggressive hand placement. Needless to say, neither my GF nor her husband were particularly happy with the local lion. However, I was able to smooth it over with my girl who is very understanding and forgiving without too much of an incident. The husband, however, is still not quite right with me. I suspect he never will be, and I can't really blame him. Would you want me groping your wife?

Present Day
Well, last night, but current events. So last night, my girl is not really up for a drink, she had a long day, etc. and told me to go on alone. So I had a long week, and a few things happen, and went to have a drink. My buddy Scott was gonna meet me there. So he texted me to head up and I did. Well who happens to be at the bar? Yep, the subject of my soggy affections. Her husband is not there either. Oh my, I think, well I at least can count on my wing man to keep me occupied so I do not get into a speculative situation where associates might tell an embellished story. I duck into the dart and pool area to await my accomplice.

Then Scott calls me. "Uh, hey man, I gotta bail, my old lady is kinda ...... off that....." you get the point. Who cares why he is not being permitted to honor his agreement with me? So I go hang with a couple of associates who are good enough fellas but not what I would call close friends. About 20 minutes in, my drink is nearly done. I am thinking I will get away clean! Then one of the guys has a second round delivered. Who am I to refuse a second Crown? Just as I pick it up, Ms Tall Athletic Blonde comes over. She has had more than a couple drinks. She is wired up and quite happy to see me. So she is friendly and touchy (but in a platonic sense) and we chat for a few minutes. She admonishes me for not coming over to see her...blah...blah...blah. I finish my drink and am ready to split. I bid the three of them good night. Just before I reach the door she stops me, runs her fingers through my hair, and whispers something into my ear that I am having a very hard time forgetting. Use your imagination, she did not leave much up to mine.

So now I have to tell my GF, who was thankfully asleep when I got home, and still asleep when I left for the office this morning. But I cannot reward her forgiveness with deception and hiding something she needs to know.

The thing is, I don't think Tall Athletic meant it but so seriously, she was just tipsy and got a little carried away. Which is the exact same thing that I did. Except, she did it when her hubby was not around, while I did my foolishness in plain view of our significant others. That is significant, I suppose.

That is what I call "interesting".

Oh and as far as ohmage dude.. how can anyone not like lions??! Unless your limb (or all of them) were torn from your body by a lion.. then i could see a distaste..

I suppose so.

I have been bitten by a Copperhead, and I do not hate them. In fact, that event cured me of any fear I ever had of snakes. Now, I still respect them, but they do not frighten me like they did when I was a child. Of course, it did not deny me a limb....

I'd have bought a Provari by now but for two things. The menu and the Provari Hit Squad.

Yep, I understand why you say that. I said the same thing until I got one.

Now it is the king of my mods. The eVic, with its beautiful multi-function informational menu (which is miles ahead of my Provari), now takes second chair to the Provari. So I am just gonna say this to you:

Don't deny yourself a Provari if you can afford it. If you get it and hate it, you can resell it very easily. It is all about the perfect vapor, top build quality, and supreme consistency of this amazing device. All backed by the best service available in the industry, period.

Not to make light of your current conundrum, Lion, but that was a quite an entertaining Saturday morning story! I'm NOT one of those folks who count honesty as the number one virtue (kindness tends to trump it in my worldview), but if you'll feel like you're hiding something from the Lioness if you don't tell her about this TAB's naughty whispers, sounds like she couldn't fault you for anything. It'll bring back the memory of last time, so you are brave in this full disclosure, sir. But I wouldn't expect anything else.

You are very kind, as is your custom. But you give me too much credit for simply doing the right thing.

I agree about your 'virtues ranking' to an extent. In this case, however, is there anything more important than truth between you and your significant other? If you cannot be totally honest with that ONE person, what do you really have? I would say I have nothing. Certainly not trust. She will likely not appreciate it, and yes, I bear the 'original sin' portion of the blame. Eventually she may well tire of these situations I seem to maneuver myself into from time to time.

Time to pay the piper. I am headed home now to get this done. No time like the present to take care of unfinished business.

Oh Eddard.. i don't envy your position .. interesting indeed..

I am a jealous GF. It's not from some deep-seated sense of insecurity.. it's just how I'm built. And i know how women can be.. "those"kinds of women ;) oman i could ramble on about this ....

You obviously know you did nothing wrong .. be glad I'm not your GF.. I'd have some choice words for Tall Athletic.

Yup, you're right in this, Lion. Honesty has crept up the ranking for me, in fact, as I also tend to get caught in whatever lies I tell somehow. It's too hot and too early to make your mushroom risotto to accompany the disclosure, but really it's not necessary; she'll likely just appreciate knowing that you insist on being %100 honest with her. (Yes, I do love mushroom risotto that much that it's stayed in my head that you make a mean one.) Godspeed on your task; I do hope that (once I'm done licking my wounds and back in a relationship) I'd emulate your impulse. I'd like to think I would, but I am not totally sure.

Likely outcome:

As BB predicted, it is already resolved. She laughed it off and said something I cannot repeat here. But she was not surprised that the first time TAB saw me away from my girl, that she made her move. She was grateful for my honesty and did not make a big deal of it.

There are few things so attractive as the self-confidence my lioness has.

That sounds right, your hesitancy perplexed me. "You wouldn't believe it! When I was at the bar last night and ran into Jennifer. She was so drunk she hit on me." What's the problem? Except the admission she probably wouldn't have been so friendly if she wasn't in her cups.

Hesitant? I told her (my GF) the moment I saw her conscious. Go get some coffee and re-read it, sleepyhead.

I do believe her state of mind caused her to act on her (understandable) feelings of lust for the lion.

Well they do tend to do that. Eddard has some manners though... I'm nearly certain he'd ask first.

No, when I am ready to take an arm, I just take it. It is my nature.

I don't eat my friends, though. Usually...
