So the other day I was waiting outside of a tanning salon having a Vape on my Saber Touch when a guy came up to me and asked what it was. I told him it was a ecig and was explaining how it works when a employee came running out of a smoke shop 2 doors down. He was demanded that I stop vaping immediately and not to tell people about electronic cigarettes! LOL :vapor:

If I owned a tobacco shop, I'd like to think that I'd be smart enough to cater to both types of customers. It couldn't cost much to devote some shelf space to a new product. If your current customers switch over, then they could still be your customers. If you don't have vaping hardware and supplies, you just lost sales AND a customer. Part of staying in business is understanding the customer's needs.

Ummm. Is there any law in your area? Some places here in Indiana don't allow smoking within I think like 3 feet or something from a public entrance. If not, As long as there wasn't any posted signs or his property, I probably would have told the guy off and continued vaping. If I can do it right outside of the airport(and in some airports), I think a strip mall or retail center is OK.

In Ga, the law says you can't SMOKE within 15 or 25 feet of an entrance to a public building or business. Vaping is pretty much understood to be accepted as long as no one complains that you are blowing it in their face.

I think I'd have had to ask him which part of the sidewalk he owned. That's always entertaining and results in a lot of sputtering.

And? Finish your story. Your Saber Touch became intimate with which of his openings?

Normally, I am one of the most considerate, kindest people that you will ever meet. I believe in treating others as you would have them treat you... I am also, however a Capricorn who was born in the Year of the Tiger and have, when pushed too far, the temper of a honey badger.... um, that dude would have pushed me too far with his attitude. I'd have gotten me a folding chair and parked my happy ... on the sidewalk, (close to his shop), with a jug of iced tea, a good book, and started vaping my .... off. And there I would have stayed until that shop closed. Wanna come out of the store and snark at me again? I will see you tomorrow, and the next day and the next.. so on and so forth. Except each day, I'd bring another vaping buddy, or two. And they would bring buddies... and it would grow exponentially.... :p

Wow what an idiot. He would get so much business if they carried PVs and accessories. Seriously, do you know how much I hate buying my stuff online and waiting for it to show up? If there were any local store that I could pop in any day of the week, buy my stuff, and have it right there and then....omg I probably wouldn't order online anymore.

For the majority of us, the only things available in actual stores are the crappy gas station pvs. No good.
