by any chance when you did you dry burns, did it melt an o-ring?

This happened to me, it was the small o-ring inside the ceramic. I take the iAtty apart meticulously, wash and inspect parts on each and every breakdown. I had never given any dry burns before, though the first time I did, on the next breakdown I found the o-ring to be split, through what I believe, to be the heat.

Mine best so far is dual coil. I've used wick from CE2 and put two 3.0om coils one after other with aprox. 1cm gap between them. Then put first coil (with wick) into cap, covered it with thin piece of wick , and put second coil (with wick) above. And connect them in parallel of cause. Resulting 1,5om great on 3,7v.

I tried your method twilab !!! I am very impressive with the vapor and the taste that the dual coil produce !!..All these at 1.8Ohm@3.7V ...Congratulation for your great idea !!! I hope this configuration will last for some days without the need of replacement :)

I'm glad you like it :)
It seems nowadays dual coil (even triple coil) cartomisers become mainstream. And they are good. Already close to tanks. It is logical, as we have about 4 time bigger surface for vaporizing at the same power. Also as we have individual coils of higher resistance it should last longer. More then two weeks fore mine and is keep going :)

So this, in your opinion is the best way? Coil and wick separate, with wick on top and bottom? Just got one recently bout to try to change the wick and coil for the first time...

I just looked at those pictures, but I'm still confused..... lol. Let me ask you something. So to use dual coil method, you make two separate wicks wrapped by two separate coils?? Then, you just put those two wicks into the ceremic cup?? What wicks and wires are you using? Are you using those that originally came with Iatty?? I'm sorry for stupid questions... I'm so behind right now... :(

My sellers have it lord. Its the new wick that I ordered from China. I send this one now instead of the fiberglass original wick for Iatty.
I see some folks using CE2 wicks. I have been trying to find some of It but so far nothing. Has anyone found this wick for sale anywhere? I have a bunch of it for now from old CE2's that I have laying around but it would be nice to get a roll of the stuff. :)

I did find it factory direct from China, but the order minimum was a lot more than I wanted to have on hand :)

I was hoping to find it somewhere in smaller rolls.

Probably not a typo 5000 euros ($7089.18USD) for 5 kilometers (3.1068 miles or 16,404 ft). Thats 0.30 euro/ft ($0.43/ft USD). Sounds about right and a fair price and it includes Customs (VAT).

Not sure which VAT rate is used here but here is the info:
The new standard V.A.T. rate is 23% compared to the previous 21% rate
Starting January 1, 2011 the reduced Greek V.A.T. rate increased by two per cent to 13%,replacing the previous 11% rate.
The super reduced V.A.T. rate increased by one per cent, from the previous 5.5% rate to 6.5%.

Please tell me that was a typo.... 5000 euros?
