I've been vaping for hours now with absolutely no leaks. Flavor and vapor are excellent. I havent had any juice in the tube. Found the few minor tweaks i needed. No primer drops. I fill and let sit 10 minutes then vape away. Found i can fill it well past the top of the cone. Ive been leaving the cone closed with good results.

Hey guys, I only have my Iatty for one day now, assembled only once and made only one resistance so far and it's working like a clock. One thing I did notice that need attention is the wires wrapped around the plastic parts. If not put properly they don't allow the parts to screw well together, and the cone may seem a little bit off center. Could that be a reason for your problems?

I have mine since wednesday. I have no leaking. I have never used a device like this before, therefore I started with Imeos assembling videos and made everything exact like he did step by step. Maybe this is the reason, that I have no problems.
Or it is because I am a woman and use to read or watch every information, before start to use something ;-)
I love this Iatty.

Imeo,

I got 1x4/1,5 and 2x3/1,8 o-rings with mine. If this has happened to more people, I can understand the problems they are seeing with leaking. Because they will not get a good seal at the mouthpiece, letting some air into the system.

I will be needing the correct ones as well. As I will not be able to get a good seal at the mouthpiece with a 4x1,5. I am sending a PM to Bruce to let him know my situation.

Should have been:
2/2 and 4/1,5 or 2x3/1,8 around ceramic
4/2 under mouthpiece

4/1,5 is not giving seal on mouthpiece Zor. You need the 4/2 as you said and 3/1,8 around ceramic

Iatty is leaking for some people because they dont do it in the right way as Zor and UK said. Maybe they put o-rings in the wrong way or the dont tight the plastics. I made so many videos about it, I cant do anything else

lol, is because you paid attention bg!

the best vape needs some practice. Some people want to have the best with no effort from the start. How is this possible? Practice and it will be a game in a few days

Imeo;

or maybe, as was my case, they received the iAtty from COV with the o-rings installed to the ceramic incorrectly, leaving the incorrect o-ring loose, to be installed by the user to the mouthpiece which is incorrect. Maybe contact COV and either have them install the smaller o-ring onto the ceramic fist followed by one of the larger ones, leaving a larger one for the mouthpiece or just put the o-rings into the bag and don't install. Having them already installed messed me up the first time.

@Hillock:
I've got two Iatties.
One one of them the delrin pieces had little bits of delrin in the cutouts, propably leftovers from the machining. I scraped it clean with a knife, took maybe two minutes.
The other Iatty was fine, and they both work flawlessly :)

In the little hole on the bottom cap, the one used to remove the cap, there was a piece of plastic in there, almost flush. Just used a paperclip to pick it out. Other pieces of Delrin didn't show any leftovers from the machining process.

Imeo. Will you put the exact sizes for all the O rings on Page 1 so I can make sure I get all the correct ones with my order? It would be much appreciated.

Ace if you look a little further into that thread you'll find a pdf I made of all measurements in metric and standard previously posted.

Next day update report:

I left iAtty attached to my Provari overnight on my nightstand. Got up this morning and checked it out. COMPLETELY DRY in the connector of Provari, no leakage whatsoever. For me, I'm not going to drip into the cone tube to prime the coil/wick after cleaning or replacing the coil. I also am leaving the cone closed, as it seems the particular juices I use are wicking fine. Just make sure, as I've already posted about, that if the o-rings are already installed to the ceramic, take them off and put the correct ones on in the correct order. That was the partial reason for my first leaking episode, along with the priming drops and opening the cone too much. All of my 5 priming drops went down the tube. If you watch the videos, most of the priming drops go down the outside of the cone tube. I made sure all of the 5 drops went down the tube so too much liquid in the tube to begin with.

Also, I will admit to the fact that a couple of times while trying to clear the gurgling from the cone tube after adding the priming drops, I blew into iAtty from the mouthpiece out of habit, then after the second time I REMEMBERED Imeo said to blow from the bottom connector so the juice goes out the mouthpiece.

We are all used to blowing excess juice out from the mouthpiece through the bottom connector to clear the gurgling. Due to the design of iAtty, this only exacerbates the problem. I would suggest that when blowing juice out from the bottom connector out of the mouthpiece that you remove the mouthpiece first, then blow from the connector end out through the top. By removing the mouthpiece, you give the extra juice a place to go, that is, the juice will go out onto the o-ring area and can then easily be wiped out with a tissue or paper towel. Leaving the mouthpiece in, seems that the juice can run back down into the cone tube and you'll never really clear the juice out.

These are just my experiences and observations. Take them or leave them.

I can clearly see where my failures happened so I wanted to post about them so others could hopefully learn from my mistakes and experiences thus far.
