For what it's worth I vote to ship them assembled completely. I'd never be able to do it as perfect as Imeo. Nevermind that I don't know which part is the wick which part is the coil. Lol.
I peered into my Atty and saw the coil that gets red hot. Is the wick referring to the bridge? Where does one get the steel needed to make the coil?

See the thing is, you are gonna need to learn how to do it eventually anyways so I am sure with a video you can handle it. The wick we are referring to is what the coil is wrapped around, the red hot metal is the coil and it is made from either kanthal or nichrome both of which are available on ebay amongst many other places. From what it sounds like, even if he does not assemble them he may still include the needed materials. What did you plan to use the iatty on, didnt you sell your gg? I know that it will work on other mods but I think its gonna look really nice on a ggtb or ggts.
Imeo-One other idea, you could ship a good portion of them without installing the coil and let the people that want to wait can wait until you finish winding coils

I vote for no pre-assembly as well. As "advanced" vapers we should be able to roll wicks and wrap coils. A video how-to should be all that's needed IMHO.
I still have another ss GGTS with a UFS. Still waiting on batteries though. Vaping on my Riva wth cartridges is not cutting it for me. One minute there's too much TH the next minute there's not enough. Very frustrating. Also I think 24mg juice is too harsh. What a learning curve

Throat hit is a strange beast, from what I understand your throat gets acclimated to a specific juice that you are vaping so as you take multiple hits the throat hit slowly diminishes. A way to get around this is to vape a couple different flavors once you are not getting a good hit with the first juice anymore. There are only a couple of juices that hold steady in the TH department for me so I always keep at least two if not three juices loaded up and ready to go. I also always keep a couple batteries that are capable of HV in case 3.7 just isnt cutting it at the moment as well. This is my personal experience/opinion and not stating as fact just what I have noticed for me personally.I still have another ss GGTS with a UFS. Still waiting on batteries though. I agree, also everybody and their brother will want different resistances and would possibly re-do them anyway. I'm a 1.5 person myself.
Great idea, ship most uninstalled and make 50 or so assembled for people that want them. If I watch the video and can do it, then anybody can. I am not mechanically inclined.

If all the needed materials are included and we have a nice detailed video on how to do it - I vote for no preinstall.
I am a little mechanically inclined but by no means am I a master of attys, it took me about 5 times before I felt that I was getting good at winding a coil, some people will be good from the first coil and others will take twenty before they are confident but I do not believe that there is anyone that wont be able to figure it out sooner or later if they really want too. It is one of those things that you will not learn unless you do it and do it and do it. Each time you wind a coil you do it a bit differently and you can learn from each one what is best for you. My plea to everyone is to vote to have the iatty shipped without a coil installed, this will save lots of time for Imeo, also it will get the iatty in our hands quicker and will allow us all to learn how to make our own coils and find what works best for us. I promise you that if you are patient and spend ten minutes a day practicing, then you WILL learn how to do it the best way for your vaping style! Can you tell I want an Iatty!?

The only thing I would say against shipping the iAtty unassembled is that if people get it wrong will there be slews of bad reviews of Imeo's product? I'm all for getting the iAtty out quicker and easing the burden on Imeo but wouldn't want to see the GG image tarnished by poor user builds.
I agree - unassembled with instructions (a video) is probably best - in terms of both time to market and your sanity. Of course, if you have children, they do work for ice cream...
