Just a new guy sending my support
I didn’t read all the pages but I saw that you’re having a hard time not to smoke when you wake up. I know that in the morning I really want a cigarette and the only thing keeping me from smoking one is vaping a juice which is the closest from tobacco I could get. When I wake up if I had only fruity or sugary juices I would instantly get a cig instead.
Part of the vaping journey (and part of the fun) is finding the juices that suit you. Keep trying new ones. Find the one you need in the morning or after lunch for example. And try some other that you like in the afternoon or right before nighttime.

Don’t give up ! If you feel like smoking then let yourself think about it for 10 minutes. Chances are you won’t smoke it and if you do then you’ll enjoy it more. Don’t feel bad if you smoke a cigarette. Feel proud of the ones you didn’t smoke. In time things will get easier.

If I had my own bridge would you cross it :p lol.

Man I quit smoking on the patch about 10 years ago , I wish I had known about vaping when I quit. I had to stop drinking socially for a year else i would get major cravings when I drank. The first time I tried to quit I quit for 3 months and i went out with my friends , had a few drinks , then was like Guys i need a smoke ! My friends were like " But your on the patch you can't smoke!" I tore the patch off and was like not anymore ! So i learned my lesson from that experience.
It was rough..I actually tried to stay away from people who smoked for like 4 months so I wouldn't have to torture myself watching them. I only smoked for 13 years though so maybe it wasn't nearly as long as you have been.

Just remember it does get easier , and every time you crave a smoke try to think about something else or distract yourself with something you enjoy. Reward yourself when you go a day without a cigarette =)

And in case you guys are wondering, why am I on a vaping forum if I quit smoking without vaping, well.. 6 years ago I tried it out and liked it. I vape 0 nicotine, and I honestly quit vaping so many times, without even trying to. i dont need it, I just enjoy it . I guess that habit of puffing on something is something I will always enjoy.

If any of you are from ukvapers.org, you will know my story. I have been trying to get back to a time that I had done 42 days off cigarettes with vaping. But that was over 2 years ago. And I would like to get back there. I have been having a hard time at said forum as Each time I state that I will vape, I tend to go back to smoking and My possible reason for doing so is that it is not cutting it for me.

I have had countless support there but they keep stating about using high nic in an mtl tank. I cannot get along with them as I have used the Aspire Nautilus mini and Digiflavour Siren V2. I use rebuildables to save on money.

My go to tank is the Youde Bellus V1. with peach 6mg/ml. I have quite a large collection of do-it-yourself concentrates. And have 3.7L of 72mg Nicotine.

The reason why I have not posted in over 2 years is that I thought ukvapers would be my home for everything. So I also created a forum for myself and others at MVR Forum.

I know you need tough love to get someone to do as you need them to do something, but as I have paranoid schizophrenia, it is hard to break my habit of smoking. I know that I can and should but it is the very first few days that I find the hardest to continue.

All I want to do is to keep posting about my vaping journey and have support by members stating keep it going or you are doing good. I cannot any longer get this from ukvapers as It takes forever to get a reply. And with me having endless threads there I am seen as a troll when I fall of the wagon.

I would like users here to egg me on and that is all I wanted in the first place.
Don't give up man, it is tough task by itself it must be much more difficult when having a mental disorder. Best of luck.

And therein lies the OP's difficulty.

Sorry P2P, in your poll I voted, " I will keep my mouth shut. "

Mouth now shut again.
I

Sorry didn't even realize what thread I was in. Just clicked some new threads and read last replies.

Still got 2 ciggys in the box and will give them away or might just throw them away.

Have been vaping since 12pm.
Good job! Now crush the last two cigarettes and throw them away. As long as you have them you'll be tempted to smoke.

Nice to see you back @P2PLeon ! I hope something cuts you some slack this time, honestly.

Have you thought any more about the suggestions you have gotten on this thread? I don't want to see the same old, same old.

I genuinely think WTA could help you, for example. I'm not sure I could have switched without it, or without killing someone at least.

I am also entirely sympathetic to your cause, I know what quitting with a major mental illness is like. It's awful, is what it is like. I sort of think anyone with a mental illness or severe chronic pain should be exempt from the negative side effects of tobacco, personally. I sort of felt like I highly DESERVED to smoke. But alas, life, it does not work that way.

Good luck, whether you pitch the cigs or not. I would work on consistency if you can. 2--3 cigs a day for a while or however many you need is probably better than falling off the wagon catastrophically and then climbing back on....
