Inahlation method and younger Americans?

Are Direct Inhalers mostly Younger Americans?

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am 18-40.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am 18-40.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am 41-60.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am 41-60.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am 61 or older.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am 61 or older.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am American.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am American.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am British.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am British.

  • I learned to smoke by direct inhaling, and I am from the rest of the world.

  • I learned to smoke by mouth inhaling, and I am from the rest of the world.

  • There is no Option 15.

Screw the squabbling, let's gather data.

First, we should define our terms: Mouth Puffing means drawing the smoke into the mouth, then inhaling. Direct Inhaling means drawing the smoke straight down into the lungs. Younger and older generation is too vague. We will split into three age ranges, 18-40, 40-60, and 60 and Up. And Trog's theory only states that direct inhalers are mostly Americans, so we could define everyone else as Not Americans to answer his claim, but lets at least break out British (to include Scotts, Irish, etc), and the rest of world.

So, I know this is not all inclusive, but Trogs theory is that those smokers who direct inhale are mostly younger and mostly Americans. So first, let's establish how many mouth inhale versus lung inhaling, then how many of each would fall in what age ranges, then how many of each are Americans versus English, versus any others.

Soon, Trog will be by to say that it really doesn't prove anything either way.

He's right. Too small a sample. But I'll take a non-scientific poll over his method of pulling sh--, er, stuff, out of his ....

I've done the poll -I'm 37, British and have always mouth inhaled as I wanted as little of the crap that comes with analogs to reach my lungs as possible, and I have always been aware that much of the nicotine is absorbed in the mouth.

I was afraid of this... some folks may confuse the term "mouth inhale".
Never inhale?

my theory was that direct inhalers (suck straight into the lungs) are mostly younger generation Americans..

based on the simple logic that i live in the UK and in fifty years of smoking have not come across anyone who uses the direct inhale method..

i dont walk around with my eyes shut or my ears closed.. but it is just a theory..

You DO, however, seem to walk around with the asinine notion that there is a right and a wrong way to smoke, which is more a study in mental .........ion than I've heard in a long time.

i walk around with the theory that there is a right and wrong way to do most things.. i dont tend to hold to it all being " a do your own thing world" i consider that to be just mental .........ion..

i also mean smoke tobacco.. not alternative drugs... those who chase the dragon should not be voting.. i am aware that direct inhalation is used for this practice...

Do you find it hard to breathe all the way up on your plateau of righteousness, or did you take some sort of apparatus with you?
