INNOKIN has announced a product recall for the INNOKIN Kroma Nova. This recall covers all its production units.

The Kroma Nova implements a unique charging solution with a specialized component supplied specifically for this model. This innovative technology employed in the Kroma Nova was designed to enhance the user experience by accelerating charging speeds. Unfortunately, a defect in the supplier’s component has been identified, which may pose a safety risk. To ensure the safety of INNOKIN customers, INNOKIN has decided to initiate a precautionary recall of the Kroma Nova device.

If you own this product, please turn off your device, remove the pod from the power unit, and stop charging it from now on.

INNOKIN prides itself on high safety standards and full transparency with customers. Customers are encouraged to contact INNOKIN whenever issues arise, so their team can implement resolutions in a timely manner.

Please contact support@INNOKIN.com for further instructions on the recall process.

B2B/Clients:

INNOKIN values the trust and cooperation of its customers as it strives to ensure the highest safety standards and customer satisfaction through innovative solutions.

Interesting news, Kroma owners can now feel themselves a bit like tesla owners after the recent recalls. :toast:
I don't remember a vape product recall due to possible security issues, so kudos to Innokin for that.

    but
You forgot to mention few details though
    - Are they going to get the money back or the updated devices instead?
    - What about the customers who bough their devices from resellers / on-line stores, marketplaces?

I remember one, but it was a very long time ago. "Groove II", maybe? It was auto-firing when unused, and one actually caught on fire. There are ECF threads about it back in the archives somewhere. I don't know for sure if that was the name. I can picture the device but am not sure about the name. Twas an oddly shaped thing.

There may be others but that's the only one that hits the top of my head right now. Regardless, I admit being stunned and saddened that an Innokin product is being recalled.

I can't believe I remembered it!

Now WHERE are my effin' car keys???? ;)

In fairness, I do think that I erred on the "II" part. I think it was the FIRST Groove. The "II" was the corrected version, and is still available in at least one very specific vendor site. I might have to get one!

    "We are vapers!" :headbang:

Kroma Nova owners can reach us at support@innokin.com for more details or contact the reseller for a refund. We will give them specific instructions on how to make a refund, but they need to contact support@innokin.com because the operating rules in each place are different. The support email will guide them step by step.
