I believe the original patent for the basis of the e-cig goes back way further...Maybe the 40's? Not sure exactly, but it was mind-blowing.

Michael: The set price per unit is currently at $300.00 per unit and we expect to start pre-ordering in the end of May 2011, as for the quantity of the first run… I cannot comment on that at this time.
So we are looking at a pre-order starting in the end of May per Michael's comment above from the interview not that they will be ready & available like some have thought by the end of May the way I read this ?

hey to everyone. well as MX always says Standing by. so not its May. getting close. MWA 300 bucks is the price? Does that include any adapters or do we need to purchase that seperate? i was hoping for 1 yr warrenty but im sure it will be pretty solid unit.
I might have to sell one of my Genisis hybrids so i can pay for this. then again there is always the cc lol.

Michael is the owner of Digitalciggz Drumonron the supplying vendor of the Eclipse of course. ! I was just going off of what he had said in his interview that you had posted, I only heard the $300 number from him so I'm only assuming what he says is the word as well as reading that the "Pre-order" will start the end of May, as also quoted by Michael in the interview you had posted, this is what it says, hell I hope I'm wrong and I can have mine by the end of May

Yes, good points but I thought he essentially already took the preorder by having us email him in a specific manner but perhaps, now in hindsight, that was to be emailed or considered(have to read that post over) when the preorder was available. It was a good interview but short...really wish Michael revealed the total number of product that would be available for the preorder(end of may)...that was a biggie but I understand reasons why he would or could not reveal. It's all good...so many new PVs are being introduced to vapers lately.
addendum: the 300.00 price was fully expected and had been mentioned previously on several other occassions. Other thing....wonder what the life expectancy of the pump will be and what the cost of added service(warrantee) contracts will be?

Yeh thats what i thought when he asked us to email him to be put on the list. Yeh i wish Michael would let us know the total number of product like you said.
But all is good. i am dying to find out what the number of potential buyers is. All i can say is these guys are gonna be busy busy busy. good questions regarding the life expectancy of the micro pump.
