A bit of feedback if I may; I have tried 510, 306, 901 and 801's. I really do not like 510. I broke out another atty just to try it as I WANT this mod. I really do not like them.
I will buy this in a heartbeat if you decide to do a 901 or 801 version. I do not mean to sound like a jerk, I mean this constructively. I want an Alpha, but I cannot deal with 510/306. 510 have poor flavor and 306's spit too much juice for my liking.

Cheers and thank you! The 901 and 801 are something I have been thinking about. I would prefer to design a unique atomizer interface for these rather than an adapter. I will look into it.

... for 306's you just need the xl drip tips... i like my 510's.. I guess everyone's preference is different.
That said, without the RES can you not use an adapter?

Correct, the base units will work with an adapter no problem.

The RES will as well but you will be limited to the ID of the adapter for fluid feed from the RES. That and excess fluid in the device will not feed directly into the RES because it will be allowed to escape from the side vents in the adapter. Now plug those, and you've got a partial solution.

Hope this helps!

I just looked at the site again. Is it my imagination or did prices go up about 15-20%? I swear the case was $70 Monday and the UltraMax was $153 base?

Edit: the option to add the case to the Ultramax went from $67.50 to $94.99. What gives?

Are you serious?
Did they really mark it up & then give a discount?

cappadoc, you are correct you will notice a price increase across the Apex product line. What we would have loved to do is be able to afford to give away some Alpha units for people to try out, unfortunately InnoVapor operates under very narrow margins. You'll notice how we offer a standing 20% discount to the forum, the largest standing, constant discount as far as I know.

The compromise was to offer the Alpha and accessories at cost for the first day. We avoided advertising that because you can imagine if we sold out of all the product at cost, we would be in trouble. We felt this would reward those who were willing to give it a try right out of the gate and get some product out there for people to test and use.

The pricing of the Apex line is now what it is, and what it will stay at.

I think if you take the following into consideration you will see what a value the Apex products are.
1) All of the Apex Alpha Kits are discounted 5% on the website (are "kit discount")
2) All Apex Kits ship for Free with USPS Priority Mail. And these are real kits, with a box, manual, accesories (including a Cape Cod Cleaning cloth etc.) So they ship in a box. Shipping costs us around $10, sometimes more. So it is a real value.
3) The forum coupon ECF20 takes another 20% off the price.

All together the forum folks get 25% off the kit with free priority shipping. Innovapor has a single goal. Deliver the best product we can at an outstanding value tot he forum community. You also get what you pay for, and the Apex Products make no sacrifice for quality. Every decision that went into making the devices was centered around building the highest quality product right here in the USA. I think you will find they are still an amazing deal for an extremely high quality product.

Cheers!
