Just got my Torpedo tank and I gotta say, this thing is nicely made. Thanks Jonah! The finish on it is much nicer than the ones in his photos. Super clean. The fit is nice and tight. There's no way this thing is gonna leak any time soon. The CE2 is even performing better than I remember them doing 6 months ago when I decided I didn't like them. Tons of vapor out of this 2.6Ω at 4.6V. The flavor isn't bad either. I mean, it ain't at the level of my Fusions, but it ain't bad. I'm pleased. :)

Yes, stainless steel. And yes, mini... when they are ready

Oh, I didn't know he was planning on making them in SS... dang, wish I'd have waited for those!

I'm gonna need 1 more 510/510 adapter to make this work on my ssggts.........

Does the tank not fit properly on your GGTS without an adapter? Is the connector recessed or something? I had the same problem with my slim... looked stupid without the cap on it, so I don't even use mine right now. I was hoping they'd fit properly on the GGTS.

The first test base should be ready tomorrow, after I test it I will post the results. If it works to my satisfaction, we will make them as fast as we can and I will start taking orders for replacement bases.

So is there going to be cost for the replacement base? and if so how much?

Can someone please post a pic of the tank on a GGTS? I can't picture how it looks, but I have a feeling I won't like it without the collector tank attached if it makes it narrower.

Does the adapter make the tank not sit flush with the GGTS?

It looks 'ok' with the CT, but not so great without. Here they are with an aluminum GGTS:

With the CT, it requires two adapters (I only have one) so it's only sitting on top of there, but it should be flush...

Thank you for the pics. It does look a bit odd, since it's narrower than the body of the GG... without the CT it just looks goofy. Shame it couldn't be a bit wider and shorter, then it'd match the GG. :)

Ah well, with the adapters it's ok.. so where does one get those?

Just about every ecig vendor sells the adapters, usually under Accessories. I've read that the best setup for size is 510->901 adapter and a 901->510 adapter. A lot of the 510->510 adapters I've seen are shorties, so they may not fit quite right. Again... I've only read about it. I use 510s almost exclusively.

I'm surprised you're getting dry hits. I see some folks using these at 5 volts and above which IMO is too high for them. You might want to try the 2.8Ω version at 3.7v or the 3.2Ω at 4.0 volts. I've never tried the lower ohm versions but I haven't had an issue using these settings.
