I am really excited about the torpedo tank, from having read through this entire thread. What are the differences between Pyrex & the material you are currently using?

I just love watching the evolutionary process happening with vapping. Love the idea of your product and am looking forward to getting one.

The current tanks are made of polycarbonate a very strong and slightly flexible plastic, the one problem with polycarbonate is cinnamon oil and some acids attack it and over time(sometimes hours) will make it crack. Pyrex is a heat resistant glass it is chemically inert not effected by acid or oil, the only problems I see with it is it breaks and costs more.

I'm surprised these things aren't made from Pyrex by someone by now. Sure, it's glass, but Pyrex is pretty durable stuff so I would think that it wouldn't be a problem.

JonahNM,

I am assuming you are testing the fragility of the pyrex to ensure that as you wiggle the end caps out of the pyrex tube the stresses do not cause the tube to break in someones hands. Or is that even a concern?

How is the web site coming along and the negotiations to become an ECF vendor with your own subforum?

The tube breaking from stress is very unlikely I am mostly worried about how it will hold up to being knocked around while people use them this is what I plan on testing. The site is coming along quite well, it will be a while before I can even try to get a sub-forum. I have to get the site up then have a year as a registered supplier then apply and be approved. But I am working towards it.

Jonah,

Just got the new bottom. Haven't used it yet, but it's great. Ce2 can be changed on the fly without tools. Great fit too. What size is the oring on the inside, and diameter?

To anybody on the fence about ordering do it. Jonah is a stand up guy to business with. Never lost his cool with all my questions. Fast and efficient shipping. Super product. And most of all, A MAN OF HIS WORD. He did what he said he would do. And in a fair way. He let the customers who had frustrations with the first bottom get the updated part first. He could of easily back burnered us and just made money. He made it about the customer and not about his personal interests. Thank you Jonah. I look forward to doing business with you in the future.

Mike.

Mike,
I am glad you like the new design. The O-ring on the inside is a -11 it is a standard size, or if you need just a couple let me know. When you need to replace the CE2 the length to cut the tube is .39 inch or 9.91mm for the rest of the world. If you have any questions just let me know,
Jonah

A quick update. There will be Torpedo Tanks available in the next couple of day, both V1 and V2. There will be Stainless steel Torpedo Tanks and if all gos well in testing the optional Pyrex tubes will all so be ready within the next week. The stainless steel tanks will only be available in V2 and the cost is still being figured out, I will let you know soon.

no leaks when horizontal.
The only way I can see them leaking is just like any other tank i've tried, (including my husband made tanks).........is if you toss your PV in your purse or whatever & the top piece of aluminum or bottom piece slides out. The aluminum is tight, just not tight enough to throw in your purse & go on your merry way.

BTW, the new Nhaler tanks leak when VERTICAL on day 1 (not a good thing, for $30)!!!!!!!

yup, mine leak vertical and horizontal :(
