Has anyone heard from Jonah? I wonder how his recovery is going... Hope he is doing well.

This as of 3 days ago.. There were some minor complications during Surgery, but he is on the road to recovery.

So, both my last two attempts at filling and refilling the tank has led to leaking from the bottom of the carto connector. Not sure what I am doing wrong, but I'm damn well going to figure it out. :p

That being said, it does not leak once I've got it all back together. It just leaks when the carto gets sealed in the tank. I guess it forces the juice through the carto hole and down past the connector.

Try putting the cap back on just to the o-ring and then turn the tank upside down before pushing it all the way on...see if that helps you. :)

Also, with the side hole/slot submerged in the liquid and the top cap off, liquid will start seeping it's way into the carto since the tank is no longer pressurized. It's really not too big of a deal. If the carto becomes flooded during a tank refill, just give it a quick short blow into a paper towel and all should be well.

I like my CEs better than standard "filled" cartomizers, so it's actually an all stainless CE tank. This way when the CE dies someday my husband can rewick it with ss mesh.

Jonah just had everything beautiful at his booth. He had the nice jewelry cases with glass tops displaying everything. I picked up some blown glass drip tips from him as well. I'm really hoping that he puts them up for sale. I just can't keep thinking about the STERLING silver drip tips he had.

Here are 2 photos with the SS tank on the Prodigy V3.1, & of course another of Jonah's tank on the P-18. It fits the P-18 like a glove :) No adapter needed, even on the Prodigy :)

(one pic is the tank on the prodigy with the 510/510, & the other pic is of the tank with no adapter.)

The SS tank is beggin' to have something laser engraved on it. Can't wait to get a couple and have some fun with 'em

So I've been playing with my Torpedo Tank and I am getting massive leaking from the bottom. Not the threads area but the sides of the bottom (around the edge of the plastic tube). When I put juice into the tank (only filling about halfway) it seems to be fine. Then after a few hours I notice juice drops coming out the bottom, then I get a little juice running down the sides of my battery. I store it on its side overnight and once I screw it onto the battery, juice comes dripping out and after a few hours its pouring out. Today I had to dump all the juice in it into a sink as I had no place to put it and juice was getting everywhere in my bag. :(

I am noticing that juice is filling the area below the bottom O ring. Is this supposed to happen? Any idea on what's wrong or how I can fix it?

Thanks!

Edit: I re watched the video on the "Battle of the Tank Mods" and her Torpedo Tank seems to be much tighter. I can take off the bottom and top of my Torpedo tank really easily. I don't need to do all the wiggling she did. Just a little screw motion and pull and it comes right off.

Sounds lilke an o-ring issue to me. I would send it back for Jonah to look at. It may take some time with his health issues. Or go to a hardware store that has a large selection or orings. You would want one just a hair thicker.

The orange o rings allow the caps to come off quite easily. I have them and have never had anything like you discribe. The only issue with leakage I have ever experienced is with the CE2s, never with any other area at all. The black o-rings reguire wiggling like you saw in the youtube.

If you have the pirex tube I would not mess with it AT ALL! Send it back in.

Thanks SheerLuckHolmes and, wow, what a generous offer Para, thank you! I did order 2 replacement O ring sets with my Torpedo tank, so now that I know that may be the problem, I can try and replace them and see if that fixes it. I'll work on it tonight and test it over the next couple of days. I'll post back when I know if that worked or not :)

Thanks!
