Is it just me or are there a lot of musicians here? What do you play?

I don't switch back and forth from a standard to baritone but I have absolutely no problem going back and fourth. I can pick up a standard and play. It takes a little warm up to adjust to a standard length but after about 15 minutes it's like id been playing it all along. The hard part for me is adjusting to different bridge styles (higher from the neck) and thicker necks. Oh and not to mention I play a 7 string and when I pick up a 6 I feel out of place.

My current full time guitar has a very low fixed bridge and the baritone scale coupled with a drop G tuning on 7 strings makes for very loose (but not sloppy) play. If I pick up a high bridged guitar with tight strings then it's game over for me.

I switch guitars occasionally these days. At the time, I had never played a Strat. I bought one and played it for about 15 years, then changed over to a Les Paul. I'll still take one of my guitars and swap off here and there on a gig. I've accumulated 3 Les Pauls, an American Strat, a Tele, a Peavey Foundation bass, and two acoustics over the years. I've learned to glance when I slide!
