Man, you've certainly been busy in the last few weeks. Adding 140 authentic mods in 19 days. That's pretty impressive.

The Kryptonite by Silver Wolf Customs is undoubtedly the heaviest mechanical mod in the world today, coming in at just a tad under 4 lbs. Every Kryptonite is hand machined and takes well over 12 hours of machining to complete. There are very few Kryptonite mechanical mods in circulation, about 25 of the original brass model and just under 15 of the copper limited edition mod.

I am the proud owner of serial number 006 of the copper limited edition. Of all the authentic mechanical mods I own (about sixty of them - many of them first runs), the copper Kryptonite is the hardest hitting mod I own.

This thread is for owners of authentic Kryptonite mechanical mods. Please do not post clones on this thread. For those of you who are interested in the mod, you are more than welcome to post your comments and questions.

Actually, I just bought out a Vape store in Alabama which went out of business and a collection of a guys in Houston. For the record, I did not post this thread t brag or troll. I was hoping the conversation would turn to what people consider safe practices for sub-ohming. Evidently, I definitely missed that target.

Hopefully this one will post.

I've been trying to point, in answer to what would be a safe mod for your son, instead of a mechanical mod like the skeleton key., to a dual parallel high powered regulated mod; I can't call a name/brand because I don't happen to know which ones are dual parallel, and your Hexohm you already pointed out is series.

Now that he has a lifetime supply of mods & atomizers, I gotta wonder how his juice supply is doing

I have it stashed all over the place, I could not really tell you but I try to buy out the stores I visit when I find the ones I like at the right nicotine level. I think I average about 4 bottles a week.

I'm guessing there's a water tower full of 5 pawns somewhere in Texas.

The best supplier I know in Texas for 5 Pawns, I love their Reserved stuff that is supposedly aged in an oak barrel, is a place called Vape Nation in Cypress Texas. https://www.facebook.com/Vapenationtx

Here is one you probably have never seen. It was made for the ECC in September of this year and included with the Memento series mods sold at that convention. I picked up the brass, copper and stainless versions of those mods and have three unopened bottles of this stuff. Definitely one to keep like a vintage bottle of wine.

That makes sense. Lots of people have money, not everyone has the time or connections to source 140+ authentic mods that quickly.

About the only thing I would add is that I actually ohm out my toppers at the start of every day,ohm them again if they are dropped or jarred and I keep a log of charge volts on all my batteries...AND I retire ANYTHING that isn't 100% reliable.

Too many times the failed mechanical device has warned its owner multiple times before failing catastrophically...

(No smart ...-ery here.... I thought it was a good post)

Thank you, I really appreciate that advice. I have not been keeping a log of my charging. The guy who got me started on mechanical mods, David Broomfield of Vaporex in College Station, gave me the advice to only buy good batteries and to pitch them every three months. When I have one that wont charge all the way, I pitch it as well, regardless of the time frame.

Additionally, I have not been checking ohms after I have finished my builds. I can usually tell by the taste of the juice about what ohm I am at with my RDA. Normally, if I have a problem, it is from the screws on my posts coming loose which usually leads to higher ohms and a cooler vapor. I smoked three packs a day before I started vaping, so the regulated mods and higher ohms, just does not give me the same feeling when I vape. I guess what that indicates is that my lungs are screwed. You may find this hard to believe, but at first I was subhohming 24mg menthol juice.

On a personal note, maybe I need to read some horror stories of the catastrophic incidents of mechanical mod failures. I may be living in a false sense of security thinking I am being safe. From what I have been told, never go below .1 I know many who vape daily at .07 and .06 Two guys at a vape shop I regularly visit subohm at those levels with their Slugs'

So after all of this, I believe you have a crap ton of mods and drippers. Congratulations. You've got good tools, a good way to check builds. Congratulations again. Apparently you have a huge stockpile of batteries, though that pic didn't open. Congratulations a third time.

What exactly was the question then?? Or were you just looking for bragginf rights. If so... you win.

Aside from that, how much have you spent having someone put builds in all of this stuff for you?

Hi Austin, I lost track of that figure long ago. If your from Austin, you most likely know Dave Broomfield? If not and your looking for one of the best coil builders and source of authentic mods in the country, give him a call and tell him that Bill referred you. 832-683-3293

Yeah, I mean there's no point "scare tactic"-ing yourself really.

That said though, .07 and .06 are just.. dumb low. It has been proven that vapor production and throat hit doesn't improve beyond a certain ohm (around .2), beyond that it's just a matter of saying "I can".

I am curious though, how old are you?

And secondly, are you a millionaire?

Wow.

So you do realize, considering you have $20k+ in equipment, that .16 ohms on a mech mod puts you above 20A. And most batteries are only rated for 20A (those that are rated 35A+ are likely to be rewraps of 20A batteries).

I don't know if I agree with you about most batteries rated at 35a are rewraps, but if your correct, I got a bunch of C5's that were shoved up my posterior sideways, if they are not 35a rated authentic's

I am 54 and the other question is not something I post, however I will tell you that I love to collect cars, Rolex watches, Hummels, coins and now mechanical mods. I have never not bought something I wanted because I did not have the money to buy it. Most of my friends tell me that I have more money than sense. I hope that answers your questions.
