Lol why is everyone assuming that because this guy has a lot of mods (and subsequently, decent cashflow), he must be a bad person?

From what I'm aware, Tyger is a really nice dude. Sure, I'm a bit envious of his collection, but really it makes him all the more knowledgeable about a large plethora of devices. He's a true collector, and it's something he should be proud of (without fear of stigma). If I had a huge collection of mods, I'd have a difficult time not bragging about it all over the place. That's not really what Tyger came here to do.

"The point is, ladies and gentleman, that greed, for lack of a better word, is good. Greed is right, greed works. Greed clarifies, cuts through, and captures the essence of the evolutionary spirit. Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind." -- Wall Street

I don't think anyone implied he is a bad person ... it's just that his 4 month vape journey is a little hard to believe.

200+ authentic mods, 250 authentic drippers ... and racing cops in a Ferrari?

If you sort through the thread, there's a fair bit of concrete evidence that proves he is who he says he is, and he has the collection he claims he has. I'm not one to be easily convinced, but I do believe Tyger is telling the truth, 100%.

Yeah I read it all ... even went as far back to the post about MFS selling an unmarked bottle of 1000mg pure nicotine as eLiquid.

I do find it amusing though.

That's where I remembered the name from! I'm still waiting to find out what actually happened there...

I didn't connect it at first either ... I was a little suspect of the MFS 100% pure nicotine story and never realized both threads were from the same source.

Not saying OP is a bad person. Just saying he is a braggart and obnoxious with the presentation of his toys. I think it's awfully crass to walk into a group and proclaim how much better and expensive all his/her toys are. Hence, my suggestion for his acquisition of the rare humility mod.

Just because one can afford a sailboat does not make him a Captain.

Money cannot buy honor or respect.

Although the OP is fairly thin skinned and proclaims a level of expertise presumably acquired by simply purchasing mods en masse, I have nothing against him. I don't know him personally so it is difficult to gauge the veracity of his claims. True, false, or somewhere in between - I don't particularly care. However, I do appreciate the entertainment value he brings.

I just happened to run across a mod the other day that sells for just under $50.00 and bought it just because of the story of how it came about. In comparison to many of my $200.00 and up mods, this thing is a beast. Very well made and is definitely solid copper all the way through. The main tube has a cool looking carbon fiber sleave around it that keeps it cool in your hands. I put an authentic Vulcan on it at first and switch off to a Sillaire occasionally. Its got a very smooth and well made firing switch and the threads will rival some of the finest Philippine mods. There is no doubt that there are some mod makers highly ...... off over this ones release. If you don't have one, make sure you add it to your collection. This is probably hands down the best value for the buck on the market today. It will definitely get with the program and everybody who sees it always asks what it is. Please everyone don't laugh to hard, here is the FU mod by a former disgruntled Amervape employee:

Thanks for the Steer......

This is not made by a disgruntled Amerivape employees, it's a clone of the Manhattan from China. The "ex" employee that got screwed over was the machinest that didn't get paid the full money he was owed. He then sold the mods he had left in his possession with modifications to the vent holes. So, it was the same mod made by the same person... But half the price and sold on eBay.

The FUhatton came about by people that hated Amerivape for their actions in regards to them sending nasty letters to reviewers of the mod that stated the vent holes would not work correctly. I believe they said they would sue the reviewer and blah blah blah.

China was already cloning the mod and the original box... A cat on FB designed the FUhatton box and logo and sent it to China and they ran with it.

At least that what the little bird on my shoulder told me.

Did the clones fix the vent hole issues?

Gummy Bare, you may be right on the nose. The problem with stories is that each time they are told, something either gets added or taken away. I am not sure what the real story is. Who knows, the original story may of just been a clever marketing idea for selling the mod. Regardless of its origin, I really like the mod, especially for the price they are sold at. I would love to see more mods with its quality for under a hundred dollars.

the steer became this:
The Original FU Mod 26650 by Overload – Vape Overload

which put me on to this:
Unicorn 18650 Copper Mod by Overload (Serials 1-100) – Vape Overload

which is now in direct competition with this:

Authentic Vulcan Ragnarok copper mod

Any words of wisdom out there?

Yes, absolutely. Thank you for the link to that third mod. At a 105.00 that mod is a no brainer. Just ordered one. Wow, what a value. The second mod is pretty nice as well but does not make me want to pull out the Platinum Amex and pull the trigger. The original FU is not at all impressive to me, but I guess that comes down to the eye of the beholder. Thank you very much for sharing the info.

Though I prefer Filipino made mods, some great stuff is starting to surface out of Japan. If you have not bought a Vulcan RDA yet, I highly recommend it. For $60.00 it definitely is no brainer and the overall quality is right up there with RDA's costing twice as much. I just purchased the Vulcan mod because even though it is nothing fancy, looking at the pictures of it you can see it is nicely made. Any time you can buy a full copper mod that has the features and quality of the Vulcan for less than $150.00 dollars, you should not hesitate to pull the trigger.

On a side note, I have ordered from Vapor King before. Their prices are about average on most stuff but you can definitely find some great deals if you spend some time on the website. They primarily offer first rate stuff, ship expediently and have second to none customer service. Highly recommended.

I am not sure what needed to be fixed but the vent holes I have on mine are definitely more than adequate. What really impresses me with this cheap mod is the quality of the copper and carbon fiber materials that were used to make it. It is not thin and flimsy. The firing button is very stout, precise, machined to close tolerances and as good as 99% of the high end mods I own.

Concerning its price, if it had cost 250.00 verses 50.00, I would not of hesitated to pay it. I have a lot of mods that cost $250.00 and up and can definitely attest that this FU Mod is way under priced. Please don't get me wrong, you can tell it is mass produced. The manufacture obviously was not looking to offer a mod with fancy engraving and some of the things that set the high end Philippine mods apart from mods costing in the 150-200 dollar range, but they definitely did not scrimp on quality of metal and parts used to make this mod.

It is very stout and I am confident with proper care it would last someone a life time. Another thing for sure, once you hit this mod, you will definitely be impressed. The voltage drop is almost unmeasurable and after puffing on it about 200 times so far, it has not misfired once. I can not begin to say enough about how nice of a job they did on the firing button. It is truly first rate!

Gummy Bare, you mentioned a Manhatten clone. What do you know about the Double Ohm mod?

I'm not a fanboy of some of the 1911's coming out of the Philippines But some of them are as good as my Colts and Kimbers so I guess it depends on the plant making them and the Target audience. (as with anything.)

Having said that, I would not give you a plugged nickle for some of the Auto's that came out of Japan in the 60's and 70's but since 1981 the engine work has been second to none. The Japanese know how to work metal.

Let me know how you like it...Bonus time isn't for a few more weeks and looking at the estimates I think both 18650's will hit the stand.

Thanks for the info.
