I just got my VTR today, and I love it. Using a 19mm xl IBTanked carto tank. It fixes what I didn't like about the MVP - internal battery, and a carto tank sitting on top is wonky. It's as heavy as my 134, but I like that in a mod. Overall, very pleased. :)

How is the IBTanked tank doing? I just ordered one, the (XL 19mm). Iv'e never used carto tanks before, but I hope it works better than the Iclear 30. Right now I'm using a Pro Tank2,with a 1.5 nano coil I made with a cotton wick. Tons of vapor at 15 watts!:)

I have around a dozen IBTanked, of various sizes. Never had an issue with any of them. I only use carto tanks, as I grew tired of clearos pretty quickly. baditude has a bunch of blogs about them. Read them and you will have no issues. :)

Scored a $49.95 VTR on a black friday sale and should receive this week. :)

I've read that my Protank 2 (use on my MVP2) should fit, but that the VTR lacks a remaining voltage readout. Has this been a problem for any of you?

No problem. There is an LED above the fire button that reflects on your finger so is easy to see. Green is good, yellow is ok and red is time to switch batteries. A 2000 mah 18650 battery lasts me all day at 8 watts and ~2-2.5 ml juice.

I checked my VTR when I first got it and it shuts down at about 3.5 volts if I remember correctly. That's well above the low limit for a lithium battery. I really don't pay all that much attention to the battery indicator, my thumb covers it pretty much completely anyway. If I do see in "in the red" I think about changing batteries, but it isn't all that critical. I get about a full day out of a CGR/CH, 200mah, using anything from 3.5 to 5ml of liquid at 10 watts.

Are those APVs copper platted or is it just the lighting? I'm guessing it's the lighting.
I have one and I love it. The tank is the new Iclear 30s, so I am assuming it is the same size as the regular Iclear 30. Also the PT2 works with it as well. I cannot compare it to the MVP because I don't own one. I have a wrap coming this week from JWraps. Good luck & VAPE ON:vapor:

The Pro tank 2 will fit fine! No problem with the voltage. When I see a yellow light,I just change out battries. 001 (3).jpg

Been using a VTR for about three weeks now. Mine had the machine oil issue some have complained about. Thorough cleaning of the tank connection point resolved this. The only issue I have is the resistance bouncing all over the place. I'll see 2.0-5+ ohms. Twisting the tank back and forth gets it to change, and I can usually get it to settle on the correct 2.3 ohms. This is quite annoying. If I don't keep checking it, I'll get the occasional mouth full of burnt vape. I'm assuming it has everything to do with the free spinning tank connection. I sincerely hope that someone comes up with a fix for this.

The only "fix" I've found is to keep working that spinning connector. Spin the living crap out of it! Mine was driving me crazy, actually a really short ride, and I kept spinning the heck out of it. It's bee rock solid for the last month or so. I still can't help but get the feeling that this is a built in failure point, like the magnetic heads on the VV V2.

I haven't had any problems with mine?:?: I hardly ever "spin" it,and turn the tanks, onto the base while holding the "wheel"! I MHO I could live without the wheel being,on it at all! It helps to be able to rotate the RBA's to get the air hole in the right position, but other than that,it's kinda useless? I figure the less you turn the wheel, the less problems you are going to have with it.

I just screw in the tank until the wheel starts to turn and it's set to go.
