both of my silver and green ones have the fixed wheel. I'm pretty happy about that. I really do love the form factor. It fits perfectly in my ecig "pocket" that i have on my jeans. I included a picture of the ecig pocket i am talking about for those interested.

What does the "fixed" wheel, consist of? Does it turn at all? Mine turns, but has a detent about every 1/8 turn.I like the "square" mods, just for that reason. They fit in a pocket well. I don't care for the "round" mods, when I'm out and about! I never know where to put them, without them falling out of my pocket, plus they don't fit as well.:glare:

Just got a new VTR. They fixed the wheel! It no longer spins. So I was correct with my suspicions. The old wheel sat on a thin metal well before. That was causing improper contact so the ohm readings were off. Now the wheel is just a solid piece. Awesome.

Hey iz2sick, did you have to buy a new unit? Do you think there's any chance of exchanging through Innokin? I'm stuck with the busted wheel version through a coop... didn't figure out the problem in time. Pretty unsatisfied with the current performance of this thing.

I was curious about the spinning wheel fix, so finally opened up the VTR I bought on BF. The wheel does not spin, so I guess I got the fixed one. It is heavy, but doesn't seem all that much more that the MVP2. I'll get around to it when I get bored with my kicked Nemesis clone with magnet switch, which I like better than the MVP2 or SVD at present. So simple, no buttons, etc. :2cool:

is your spinning or non-spinning atty connection?

Mine is camo and the wheel spins. It seems to work fine. I see no good use for it though.
It doesn't seem to adjust the contact pin. That would have been smart but nooooo.

I only read the first 80 posts so far. What's the problem users are having with the wheel?
Is it just a PITA to hold while unscrewing the tank? Because it kind of is but it's do-able.

Inconsistent ohm readings. Lately I've been getting no resistance detected (non)

I don't like the finish looks like it's going to be a pain of a fingerprint magnet, even the greenish one has chome to it. That alone would make my OCD kick in.

they come in a textured green also which is what i got cuz i absolutely hate fingerprint magnets love the device so far only had it 24 hrs but man is it a game changer even at same settings as the mvp2 it seems to produce more flavor and vapor
