First impressions. It's a lot smaller than it looks in the reviews. I guess that's a result of wide angle lenses the reviewers use. I smoked (loving the past tense there) superkings, and the VTR easily slips inside an empty packet. I can almost close the lid if I take the drip tip off.

That's going to save me space as I was a 30 a day guy, so I always had to carry 2 packets with me, usually 3, just in case. I know I will probably have to carry a spare battery and charger, but that is offset by the fact that I have always carried an external battery pack to charge my phone. The charger that was delivered for my 18650 batteries, has a USB socket on it so that I can use my spare battery, in the charger, for the same purpose.

Only one downside so far. The iClear 30s smells a little of machine oil. I did a dry burn, and also washed the drip tip out as this smelled a little as well. I'm hoping this will clear after a few fills.

I really think this form factor is the way forward. A much more sensible shape to carry around, and because it looks nothing like a cigarette, I think it will go a long way towards educating none smoke/vapers that vaping is nothing like smoking, and should be not only be welcomed, but encouraged in our society.

At the moment I'm set to 8 watts, with Dekang Fair 8mg in the tank. Loving it!

Just got mine in the mail today. Got the fixed wheel version!

Like Oric was saying it is actually smaller than i thought it would be. Every bit as heavy though!

Filled up the iClear 30S with some 6mg 50/50 honey pearry. I am coming from sub ohm mech builds so started at 10 watts. think i have found my sweet spot around 12.5. Love the flavor and throat hit. Vapor production is great as well. This will be great for weekend trips and going out when i dont want to mess with too many batteries or RDA/RBA's

Still waiting on the 3400mah panasonic so i have a bit of overkill with a 22amp Samsung battery in there at the moment haha.

This is a possible solution for the Protank airflow problems. Also raises the tank up a little:

This was working at Myvaporstore: "Use the coupon code "TS14ZG" for 10% off select "items*."http://www.myvaporstore.com/Kanger_Airflow_Control_Valve_Protank_II_Protank_p/kr-acv.htm

wjosephsimmons, thanks for that link! I ordered four, two for me, one for my wife and one for a good friend. Adding some extra material at the bottom will help raise the tip a bit as well, but I think it'll still need an extended length drip tip.

My pleasure, certainly, however all credit must go to NickSteel, for his original web address and valuable coupon code. I had browsed My Vapor Store but not purchased from them before, and I'd seen the "Kanger Airflow Control Valve" at another online vendor but for almost twice the price and listed simply as a "Kanger Aerotank base". It did note that it was compatible with the PT2 and PT3. I received mine yesterday, but I haven't used it yet as I'm on the PT2 Mini right now.

However... my VTR is waiting for me at the Post Office!!! (Alas, my Panasonic NCR18650PF 2900mAh High Drain 10A 18650 IMR batteries came this morning, but I still am waiting on my XTAR WP2 II 3.7V Li-ion battery charger to arrive before I can indulge).

Sounds like you really have a handle on it all now. I will probably unbox my VTR now, as my wife just appropriated my Davapes Poldiac clone I got a couple days ago. Nice toy. :D

Will soon have a vtr in my possession. I saw someone on the forum that had like a nice autumn leaf camo. I'm trying to find the wrap or the person with it. Any help is greatly appreciated

This one from J-Wraps looks like an autumn leaf wrap you may be thinking of:

Price: $13.50
Product Code: ITASTE-VTR-S9
Link: S9

That's close but the one I saw had more orange colors in it. How did you find that? I just even looked there before I posted

Doesn't even look like a mod. Looks like a 2 way radio.

Got my VTR yesterday from vaporworld in OK, shipped to MN. Took only 3 days. Christ the thing is big and heavy, but it feels so solid. I'll always know if it's in my pocket, which is a good thing. Like the iclear 30s it comes with too. I'm going to have to get some more of those.
