I made a template if you want to do a DIY skin. Search on eBay for "3d vinyl sample" or "snakeskin vinyl sample" for cheap vinyl.
Make sure that you print the pdf file at 100%. The SVG file can be edited by the open source program, Inkscape and most proprietary software used for electronic cutters. The studio file can only by used by Silhouette's Studio software.

Yes, and mine is the newer generation I guess since the locking ring at the bottom does not spin, and yes my button makes that high frequency ticking sound, I haven't noticed it over the past week until I just stuck my ear to it, it must be the chip freq. I'm loving it so far though, especially it's weight and fingerprint hold. LMAO Thank you all.
Heya folks, I just bought myself a brand new to me used VTR from the classifieds. I've wanted one for a few months, but couldn't afford it, now I can and it was there and I got it. Well, it isn't here yet, but you know what I mean.
I also just got a diver and a 15mm tank from ibtanked because I wasn't planning on getting the VTR. It's hard to picture it in my head, but I think that'll be too small and look silly (35mm high, 15mm diameter). Does anyone want to weigh in on this? Maybe it doesn't look silly?
If it IS too small, I'm trying to find something that won't break the bank (clones are fine) that is not plastic and is rebuildable. 19mm wide, and probably shorter than the iclear 30. The main reason I like the VTR is that the tank is recessed down on the body, so yea, I'm trying to avoid something too tall, that will just reach the top (plus drip tip). Any suggestions? Also, not a protank.

Don't own a VTR, but I did see that 101Vape now has the Taifun GS clone in stock. Believe this is one of the few rba's that will fit in the recessed 510 connector without use of the adaptor. Just thought I'd pass along the info. They also had the VTR V2 in stock at a decent price.

Another thanks to joesimmons and nicksteel for the aero adapter for the Protank 2. I put one on this morning and love the PT2 even more now. It does sit higher in the VTR and the original drip tip would probably work, but I still like the long ones I bought for them.

I'm so sorry to hear that, TRoxx! I was truly hoping you would be an exception to what I've read. Hopefully MVS won't give you a hard time, but if they are reluctant in any way, you should be able to easily demonstrate to their Customer Service department reps that the issue is a design flaw that has since been resolved by the manufacturer (as of late November, reported on ECF forum threads) by the redesign of the 510 connection. It was only released on September 25th, according to the product description on the Innokin website: iTaste VTR - Best Electronic Cigarette | E Cigarette Manufacturer| Innokin), so they ought to listen. You might also inform them that Innokin themselves offer a 90-Day warranty (though I'm not sure if this applies to re-seller sales or only on direct sales). You have my most sincere condolences. Let us all know how you get on.

I think I'm going to stop buying devices until they've been on the market for some time - not so much due the the cost, but to seeing the frustration people have trying to correct design and manufacturing defects. I've was just lucky with getting the VTR v2. I suppose that, as mods get more and more innovative, these things will continue to happen.
Thankfully, there are simple dependable devices we can rely upon to avoid tobacco while we play with these new toys!

but first...
I tried some simple things to fix the problem.
I cleaned the contact points with alcohol and used compressed air to blow out any e liquids or dirt from the connection rotating wheel.
It seems to have fixed the problem..
Maybe its a temporary fix..
Hey awsum140, what long drip tips did you get? Are they tight-fitting? Maybe you can answer this question - I just posted this on another thread, but I thought I'd re-post it here just to get more attention.
Here's a question for all you Innokin iTaste VTR users who like how the Kanger Protank 2 (v2) works with it. I just got my VTR last Friday, and since I've always enjoyed the PT2 and PT2 Mini clearomizers, I couldn't wait to try them out on it. I coincidentally also received my new Kanger Aerotank base
(aka Kanger Airflow Control Valve, which is compatible with the PT2 and PT3)
the day prior, so of course I tried all three of them (the PT2, with the Aerotank base/Airflow Control Valve, and the VTR) together and wow! Fantastic! Not only does it allow you to adjust the airiness of the draw to your liking (and eliminate any potential problems therein), but because it's taller than the stock PT2 base, the Aerotank base/Airflow Control Valve also brings the height of the PT2 perfectly in line with the top of the VTR, almost like it was made to fit it (IMHO). I couldn't be happier except for one small matter: the PT2 stock drip tip is just a little short if you're vaping with the PT2 in the recessed tank slot and not using the adapter "cone" (which is pretty cool in itself: as an aside, the adapter is the exact same black chrome as the base of the PT2 Mini, and matches it perfectly; it also has a detachable metal sleeve aka "beauty ring" at the top that you can remove when using a slim-style clearomizer like the Mini to make it perfectly streamlined). Now I know many, if not most of you have read this before, but I wanted to find a really nice, long 510 drip tip to use with this arrangement. So I got online and ordered not one but two Smoktech stainless steel long pipe drip tips, the first from Discount Vapers...
and then I found an even better deal ($2 less) on a different style from Madvapes.
(#7 & #8)I received the first one today, but alas, it feels like it might fall out, even though it's a 510 and not very heavy or long (about 3.25"). It's just too damn wobbly to use on the VTR with the PT2 with any sense of security. I'm going to have to return them both. Fortunately they weren't very expensive. So to conclude, any suggestions?

Damn, NickSteel, you're fast! Exactly... there's no way for juice to leak down into the battery (or in this case, the VTR). Isn't it a great setup? I'm very pleased to say the least. But I need a longer drip tip that won't wobble around like it's about to fall out when I put my mouth to it.
I think I shall purchase one of these aero bases.... or 2 or 3

Take the drip tip o ring off put dental floss in slot put o ring back on until it is tight, just a suggestion.
