Good one buzzzlove, thanks man. That got me wondering about toxicity and I found this on Wikipedia on Ti dioxide. Section 4 is on health and safety and it reads pretty safe to me for the exposure I imagine we would get from vaping. There is however also Ti monoxide and Ti trioxide to worry about. But not right now

I have a 150 VTR I dont use it much I generally vape around 50 to 60watts I have a IPV 4 coming in to replace my Mini 2 Im tired of changing batteries so much at work this thing gets the worst battery mileage of anything Ive used. I did quita a bit of studying before I ordered any ti wire. It looks like to me keep it under 600 degrees and all is ok. might not be to smart to lick your coils or eat your old used cotton but I quit doing that weeks ago so Im all good.

I cant wait for the Lemo 2 to get here! I have a big-O- fat 24 guage 5 wrap coil reading .29 just dieing to get in to its new home. I also have a Billow coming a friend had 4 of them and threw one my way.
If the 150 is built as well as the 100+ I'm happy to make this mistake. My 100+ has been with me all day, every day since November - ish. Bounces around in the console of the work truck all day long. Lol.Good one Ive had much worst mistakes

Nancys IPV Mini died on her in a couple of months. I guess its kind like cars sometime a lemon happens. I hope your 80$ 150 lasts 250 years!

I'm happy I got mine. It's got tons of power and though I haven't figured out how to use 150 watts all at the same time yet, it's there if I ever want to try. The only thing that disappointed me a bit is they don't boost so 'only' go up to battery voltage, not the 8.5V that is frequently mentioned. Usually I research better before I buy something, but it was a good price and I was looking for something with that kind of power. I'm still happy with it nevertheless.

Agreed Buzzz. Actually, so far it looks to me like there might not be any issues with going a bit hotter than that, but I'm not going to dry burn the wire until I do more research on it. I don't think eating Ti dioxide is any issue, it's used in food. AFAIK it's only inhaling it.
I've run a few tanks through my Billow and I've enjoyed it. I also have a Lemo 1 but I can't say the same for that. I've put the Lemo aside for now because I'm having too much fun with Ni and Ti, but I'm going to go back to it sometime. I think you're going to like your tanks.

So I went back and had another look at the Lemo 1 yesterday. My problem was I couldn't run it at even 18 watts without getting dry hits and the draw was a little too tight for me too. I rewicked it a couple of times and kept shortening the wick but nothing I did solved it. The Billow OTOH is happy at 40 watts if I want to run it that high and my Aqua 2 also wicks fine for me so I thought it was probably the Lemo.
I took it apart and had a good look at it. I put it back together without the air flow restriction nut in and left the 510 base off so the 4 air holes were effectively really opened up and the draw was much better. Drilled the four holes to 2.5 mm and I drilled 2 of the 4 air holes in the hollow center screw that holds the positive block in pace with the same drill.
Put it back together and tried it and of course the wicking was still a problem, but I wanted to try it just in case. Dremeled the juice channels with a 0.085" diameter cylindrical diamond bit. They are now about 0.095" wide at the threads and I ground into the channels far enough to have the new diameter just eliminate the old channels completely.
The coil is 27 gauge Kanthal at 1.6 ohms wrapped on a 3.5mm pin. I can now run it at 30 watts with no wicking issues. Have it set at 20 watts and it's a pretty good vape. I'm planning to vape this tank and then change the coil to Ti and try it with temperature protection. Hopefully the number of connections between the 510 pin and the wire don't make it unstable, but I guess the only way to find out is to try it.

I agree it's a pretty good vape. The only complaint I have at the moment with it is if I put it on it's side it leaks. It could be worse than normal because I have the air flow control screws out. The Lemo also leaks a bit on its side, but only a few drops.
But it is a great vape for a tank
So that's why you've been so quit. Im glad your getting your Lemo diald in sounds like your getting close. I got my Ti wire in I did 5 wrap coils in the Haze .12 ohm I love it! great flavor Clean is all I can say to describe it, Im running it at just 420 and great vapor its hard not the soak the wick every 3 or four draws. Yes it is a pain to work with but well worth the effort
