Cool! I FINALLY got a good SS wick and coil (a little high, 1.6Ohm) set up in my RSST and it's working pretty good on the KTS.
I was "done" with mech clones until the Juggernaut clone....now I just GOTTA have one of those. It'll be my first (and probably only) hybrid mod.

Damn near identical to my mech's... Got the Sigelei brass 19 couple weeks ago. K100 came today(black) and a KTS+ came today too!

Once you get one working, you will love it. Once setup right, the RBA's are the best vape I have found. I love the FC2000 ceramic wicks. I think the flavor is so much better than SS mesh. Have you seen the new pics of the Juggy clone? It's really a BCC hybrid. It's basically a protank that will only fit on one tube. I've posted this pic in a few other threads too.

ordered mine a few days ago, got 18350, 18500, and 18650 batteries and a good charger and a kick clone. Can't wait! Thinking I might sand it and plasti-dip it when finish starts to wear since I have an extra can from doing car wheels. Best part is it peels right off if I screw it up.

I got the spray plasticote and it looks great as long as you just have it sitting on the shelf. I painted mine flat black bout a week ago and its already peeling off the top with normal usage. It worked but not for the investment of the 20 bucks for the rubber paint.

No, I have NOT seen that. I've got a pre-order in for the "Hybrid Elite" mod by Rainbow Heaven. Got it for about $45. I thought (from the initial photos) that it was a Juggernaut clone, but it's more of a Noble 1 clone. Which is fine with me.

Who's doing the Juggy clone?
link?

I answered this in the other thread.

So i just got my k100 today, mine came with a safety chip, has anyone used it and would button top batteries from my vamo work in it as well. I am also running a 2.5ohm carto dct on it and it doesn't seem to hit like the vamo did. should i sand down the contact points and use the safety chip also?
A DCT at 2.5 ohm is high for a mechanical mod.. It isnt going to perform well at 3.7-4 volts.. You need to be in the 1.5-2.0 range for any carto or atty to get better performance. I wouldnt do any sanding on a new mod..

I just got some noalox. Could someone tell me where to smear this stuff? ;)
A diagram, even a crude MS Paint job, would help.

I get the general idea: put a small amount (using a q-tip I guess) everywhere the threads connect, right?
My bottom button has started to get....well.....stiff.
How would I attempt to address that particular issue?

Got mine a week and a half ago, and I'm loving it. Run efest 18650 and 18350 batteries...love the small form factor of a 18350, but get a little leary come the end if the day at work... Might pick up a 18490 to ensure I make it through the day.... Running an AGA-T2 with a SS rope wick and 30ga twisted wire, 3 wrap, at .7 ohm... Vapes like a fog machine...

I place it on the switch threads and unscrew the tube all the way and coat the threads of the tube. Never place it on the atty connector threads. As far as the switch, I dont know what would make that stiff..

Hey thanks!!!! Glad you mentioned to never place it on the atty connector threads.
I probably woulda done that if you hadn't told me not to! Really.
I am THAT dense. No joke.

no problem. glad to be of assistance.. atty connector coated with noalox would cause a short or could cause one to occur.

I love my k100. That is my workhorse. I would also suggest getting new batts. I'm using the Panasonic NCR18650B in mine. 3400mah. You can do a search for 3400mah eVic battery to find them. Some folks don't like rebuilding, but I believe that is the best way to go with this mod. Learn to rebuild on an AGA-T2, & you will see a drastic increase in flavor,& vapor production especially with ribbon kanthal.

I think the RSST would be a better started RBA. But the AGA-T2 looks better on the K100.

Would have to agree... From everything I've seen the RSST is the more user friendly of the 2... however on the flip side, learn to build on a AGA-T2, and you'll know how to build on anything... I.e., trial by fire approach, hehe...

The thing that keeps me from getting almost any other genesis style device is the lack of an insulated wick hole. I just don't relish the idea of using the pulse method to oxidize the SS mesh WITHOUT that insulator. Because, if I understand/remember correctly, the heat will only travel down the wire, and not from both ends as it does in an RSST.

Kinda nervous about building the wick for my incoming hybrid clone. Maybe I'll wrap the SS in ewok fur (ekowool) on that one....I wouldn't have to oxidize anything that way, right? Because the wire would only be in contact with the ekowool.....?
