I put a chunk of rubber inside underneath the black washer thing in there to prevent the small battery setup from pushing up that piece. but you have to take the tank apart and very carefully put it in there because the silicone seal under the tank that houses that electrode from leaking can be messed up if you do it wrong or take the electrode all the way out.

This photo I am pointing to the black plate underneath the tank. You have to access it by taking the top off ( wick cap, screws, washers, then the top part of the tank and the plastic tube) Then you can push the electrode out a bit to get under the cap and put your ???? something not conductive under there and carefully push it all back together again. I must Stress the CAREFULLY part. you don't want to unscrew that screw because of the infamous S spring can break. then reassemble and POW!!! Vaping magic!!!
