    Ya ... I shelled out almost $150 this morning for the k lite and a couple provari rings. Im just fedup with what I got and need a good reliable atty, should of waited for intaste to restock but my luck is I would of missed out.

    But with paying $37 for dhl 2-3 day shipping I was hoping to have a tracking number by now...

    Nothing... not even an order confirmation except from paypal. When I log into the site it says order status:eek:pen PP paid in full.

    Hope all is well with this... I already feel guilty for ordering it since I took a hit at work and lost $5 an hour
    This post is only to make you feel a bit better. The last shipment "out" of Kfun Lite's from Germany did not pass German customs. So they were all sent back to shipper, InTaste (great company). I think there might be a delay getting the next batch of Lites from InTaste.. Just thinking here. I am really thinking of Cloud9 in the am, for a price check. Besides i do need a few large clear tanks.
    The Lite, is the BEST, ermm the GREATEST vape I own. I am like a newbie, own a few gennies, ceramic wicked. But My Lite is tops. I am an att field worker & this sitting in my pocket, or tool pouch all day. No leaks and performs great every time!!! I will get a few more.

    So for those who unfortunately had their Lite sent back to InTaste (like me), have you received any word from them? I got an email response from them around 6:15am -- it simply stated they are working to solve to an issue with FedEx and will notify me when they have delivery information. Not a whole lot of detail there.

    Maybe I'm spoiled by the fact that I had a tracking number within 45 minutes when I originally placed the order, but I was a little disappointed that the problem wasn't further addressed today. I was under the impression that they simply needed to re-label/re-ship the returned packages? Its a bit strange to me that Lites shipped the day before made it across the pond without problems.

    This hasn't been the greatest vendor experience so far, which is a shame because everyone has been giving them really high marks. I'll give it til the end of the week, but I'm really hoping there's some kind of dialogue about why my Lite is sitting in Limbo.

    Gonna shoot them another email, give it a day or two then if I have to go the Paypal dispute way. I've had good experiences with these guys in the past, but I expect that you reship my product the same day you get it returned to you....if not then the next business day. Right now it's been sitting in your office for two business days, tomorrow will be three. Heck, if it were me and I had a BUNCH of orders sent back from customs they would be my FIRST priority. We didnt even get as much an email letting us know about the issue, until we went looking for an answer.

    I got the EXACT same response, so it looks like a cut and paste job there. I agree with you on all points. When I was told the products had been returned, I expected a new tracking number by the end of the day. The canned response and overall lack of communication leads me to believe that there's something else at play here. No clue what it might be though -- from everything I've been told, the products were returned to InTaste.

    Hopefully the returned items didn't get dumped back into the system and then re-sold to others. If there's an unusual delay in restocking the Lite, I'd say its probable something like this happened. Though I hope I'm wrong, everything has already been re-shipped, and they just forgot to send out the new tracking numbers.

    Guys, pls get in touch with Steffen Nothacker from Sales <info@intaste.de>, u may refer my email exchanges with him (Qorax Stan from Canada) regarding the following AND tell him to printout new labels accordingly asap:

    1. Remove the "comma" from the Customs Value, viz 78,670 EUR
    (that "comma" converts it into "thousands" internationally - and becomes a Tax bummer)

    2. Remove the Package Description: "Accessories for E-Cigarettes" and replace it with "Flashlight &/or Metal Parts"
    (this is twitching FedEx US, as well as Canada... aka FDA / Health Canada bummers)

    I had the above issues... had to deal with FedEx, paid up $23.17 in HST+Customs Duty, notified it to Steffen and advised him to follow suit for all North American orders henceforth.

    I got that one (teflon/graphite) from Mr. Frost Mods on Vaporwall, and JM Mods has similar tips (delrin) in all sorts of colors for sale on his website vapersisland.eu. JM Mods website is not open yet, the opening is tomorrow at 1am Pacific Time (in about 4 hours).

    How are you filling? Top cap? Just for kicks, I would invest. Im happy to send you a couple if needed on me. I even have a stamp.

    I would run it under warm water. I would suggest lightle depressing with a toothpick that is dulled a bit. But, of course at your own risk.
    This isnt something you have to do alot but I know SM has helped many users with a stuck ball valve. If you look back a few pages, I think 9BallAJ had a stuck valve. I think there might be a mention also on their trouble shooting guide. Im too lazy to look right now.

    Ekowool is all I use. There is much information on it on ECF. I have used 1.5, 2.0, 3.0 in the Kayfun and find that 2.0 is the best wicking for me and fits in the evac chamber the best. The less eko the better. Eko is measured by inside diameter as it is hollow from 2.0 and up.

    Try some xc-116,I got some in the k-lite and it works really well.I got some ekowool with the reg. kayfun and will try it out as soon as I can build it and fill it

    Went throught the Nextel wick 2 months ago. Much I do not care for. I prefer Eko and ss mesh in my genny's. They both work very well for me.
    Lance at Steam Monkey penned a great article on Nextel along with many on why not to use it. If it works for you, thats great.

    Just wondering if im the only dummy to shell out and have bought from digitalsteam?

    Its been 12 hours since I ordered the kayfun lite and provari cone for $150 expecting the quoted 2-3 day ship time via dhl, but haven't received an order confirmation or tracking number.

    Purchases usually always come with an instant order confirmation, and I expected the time difference to make me wait a while for a tracking number.

    But anywhere else I would of heard something by now.
    I shelled out hoping to get this asap and avoid missing out on intastes next round or their shipping fedex issues.

    I already feel guilty paying so much but now im also getting worried :(

    The stuff is not meant for vaping and 3M will tell you all about it. I agree that it is good wicking material but not safe. I'm not that guy who is a medium watchdog either. I honestly gave it a go but found it no better than my Russian Eko.

    I honestly dont care what anyone uses, as long as they are happy and vaping!

    What is xc-116?
    Ive seen it mentioned a bunch but was using gennys with mesh so didnt pay attention.

    I got some kidneypuncher ekowool coming... is ekowool a ceramic?

    No ekowool is higher temp silica. Personally I am using xs-18, works great in the Kayfun. Xs-18 is silica hence the "s". Xc-?? Has received a lot of bad press lately due to the chemicals used to treat it at the factory as well as not wicking as well as silica. I believe the xs-?? May have used the same or similar chemicals but I bought mine from kidneypuncher whom cooks it in a kiln for a few hours to remove such chemicals.

    I also have 1.5 and 2.0 ekowool for experimentation. Maybe next time I will try it.
