Sorry, was cooking up some food for the week. I made something called Southwest Vegetable Soup...hope it's good. I've been trying new recipes and some of them haven't turned out too good. Now the dh (read darn husband) won't try any of the food I make!! Not even to see if it's nasty!

Hello V4L family!! I spent the day in the sunshine watching hubby weed the garden while I made a ramp for my new chickens (hatched out 4 weeks ago) so that they can play in the yard! Nothing funnier than chickens in the grass for the first time chasing bugs!!!
Dh took a break to put up my fishing stuff. They turned on the generators...so no more fishing.
Too much at home to do ...i do my errands and appts during the week here because my nearby towns are overrun with tourists on sat /sun so i get things done but im here now !
Wow Brandi: You live on a lake in Tennesee? You have no idea what a jealous monster you have just created with providing me that info. Especially eastern Tennesee where the water is so clean--Could I move in with you--just for 20 years or so?
Actually we live on the French broad river. Kinda wish it was a lake...but when no generators are on, it's almost like a lake! ;-)
